Q: Does it really come in a plastic container? I thought the whole point is to eliminate plastic?

Thanks for the question! We actually just switched to a paper container to eliminate the plastic waste thanks to customer feedback. The travel containers are plastic but the bar itself is 100% consumable and the travel container and can reused over and over. The packaging is now paper!

Q: What is this in a plastic container? If I am switching to a bar it is because I don’t want plastic.

I’ve bought other shampoo bars that aren’t wrapped in plastic. But unfortunately this brand is wrapped in plastic. Also, no matter what shampoo bar you buy, you have to buy an aluminum tin for it and keep it out of the stream of water in order for it not to waste away. Fortunately, the tin can be used over and over.

I can’t say what the actual scent is called but it has a great clean citrus fragrance.

Q: Is this product color-safe?

Yes! It doesn’t strip you hair like usual shampoo so your color should last longer.
