Tiptree Mincemeat, 312 Gram

I used this product for pie.

It works although not as good as the old brands which seem to be unavailable anymore.

Bought this to make a Thanksgiving pie and found that the seal was lost in spite of paper seal between glass and lid intact. Unknown how long as I had them in my pantry for a month. Product had an off smell.

One of the jar lids was loose, and some of the contents leaked out. It sure smells good, but I haven't cooked with it yet. Will it still be good?

Taste is off the charts. Everything Wilkin&Sons makes is supremely tasty. I was searching in searching grocery stores last year for Mincemeat. Not one of the had this. I like to bake frozen tart shells, add mincemeat and top with a dollop of whipped cream for the holidays. Luckily, I finally found this on Amazon.

This is a great mince meat but it’s an acquired taste. The taste is strong and biting. I don't think it would be useful for baking but you could put some on ice cream or eat it straight out of the jar!

Reasonable price as our family loves mince pies all year round

Haven't tried yet as it's for Christmas but it's much smaller than I expected. Will need at least 2 for a 9 inch pie

Bon marché pour Noël, arrive avant la date et en parfait état. Malheureusement, il reste seulement une et j'ai désiré deux mais une c'est mieux que rien.
