Who doesn't like donuts?!?!?!? This is a wonderful recipe book. It's going to make me fat. I've made like 10 of the recipes and they've all been winners. Even the GF donuts work well (and that's quite a feat b/c GF baking can be terrible). Think I'll try a jelly filled raised donut this weekend.Hint - warm up the cake donuts in the microwave if not eating them fresh. Just like 10 seconds. OMFG it's good.

This donut cookbook is great - i just made the lemon poppyseed donut last night and they turned out great. I love the simplicity of the recipes and i have all the ingredients in my pantry already. I do wish there were more pictures throughout the book as i like visuals of what i'm baking. Otherwise, I highly recommend this donut cookbook.

I purchased it for use with my donut maker and it told the reader which recipes would work with one. That was a big plus. Lots of good ideas, I want to try making many more.

Excellent cook book. I've made several different donuts, and they were all delicious. The recipes make small batches so husband and I are limited in how much we eat. For the most part, the recipes are quick to put together and bake quickly. I recommend at least 3 pans for standard donuts as some recipes make more than 12 donuts.

I also like that it is spiral bound so it doesn't take up as much of my precious little counter space.

I had hoped the recipes would be better than they are. They are okay. My husband loves donuts. He says the ones I have made to date are “heavy” and dense. He says they taste good - just not happy with the texture.The book itself is lovely. It is well put together- well priced and the recipes are easy to make. I figure the problem lies with this baker (me) and not the creator.

Perfect gift for grandaughter

I borrowed this on Kindle Unlimited then bought a physical copy for my kitchen. Whenever I watch cooking or baking shows where home cooks are learning to do better in the kitchen, I always says the most important thing is to teach a person about the kitchen, equipment, measuring, chopping, etc. The first chapter of this is that. It lays out the importance of planning, using your kitchen space wisely and measuring properly to get the best results. Seems obvious, but it never hurts to be reminded and it has some really helpful tips.Beyond that, these recipes are YUM! I got hooked on these glazed, baked cake donuts that a local convenience store sold then they stopped making them so I bought donut pans online. There were no recipes or instructions in what I bought, just 2 6 slot donut pans. With this book, I now know what to do with those pans. The glazed recipe isn't exactly what I wanted, but the pumpkin and snickerdoodle are SO GOOD! Most importantly, these recipes are easy to follow and make. As I get more comfortable making these recipes, I'll start experimenting to make my own creations with confidence because this book really gives you a solid foundation to build on. I absolutely love the author's style and wish they had many more cookbooks for me to add to my collection.

I bought this cookbook so I could make my husband some baked doughnuts instead of frying them. This book has so many interesting recipes and I look forward to trying them.

Bought it as I have a donut maker that I never used. First attempted the was the original recipe in the first pages. Amazing!

Disappointing there were no pictures

Looks as though the recipes will be good but there are no photos in the whole book which is a shame. Pretty much the main reason I haven't used it yet and probably wouldn't have bought it if I knew that before as I like to see examples in cookbooks
