Fantastic
Plato is the Jack Handy of his time. Thoughts are important to me and this book allows me to reflect on my life in ways I didn't expect. That is the beauty of philosophy. Humanity is nothing more than herds of people moving like waves in the ocean. They move in waves and they park themselves at the nearest safe space they find and live their lives. It's their safe place. Some venture to find greener pastures and that is dangerous. New thoughts challenge the leaders of the herd and they, the leaders, will drive the herd to new pastures. New thinking is always needed. Philosophy is the genesis of new thoughts. These thoughts result in new math and science that manifest in our reality. Challenge yourself and keep thinking.

Four Stars
Pleasant to read, and the Greek original is a boon to anyone practicing classical grecian.

Prepare your children!
Needs to be required reading from an early age. All the elite children which go to Eton and pop up in Westminister obviously read it.

Side by Side Ancient Greek 2013 CE English rendering
The English is an accurate 21st cent rendering(from 2013), and the parallel text allows for direct identification of problematical passages in Benjamin Jowett's translation. (For example, I always wondered was being translated when Thrasymachus calls Socrates supporters 'silly-billies': the comment is rather on their actions, as 'playing the fool', as Socrates does shortly when setting up the parameters of the argument.)
