Leather Strop 3" X 20" Barber's Razor Strop Cow Hide, Dual Straps with Swivel Clip. Makes a Great Addition for Any Straight Razor Shaving

I really like the width of this strop. I can use straight stopping strokes so perfect to prevent accidental blade lifts. The handle and swivel perform as expected.The most disappointing thing about this strop and impossible to tell from the manufacturers photos is that the finish side of the strop has a very uneven pebbled surface. I tried an older razor on it and found that this pebbled surface put random scratches on the polished edge of the blade. Ultimately this could damage the thinnest part of the cutting edge if too much force is used.I can't be too harsh, as you get what you pay for. It was 1/3 the price of a highly reviewed competitor's strop. I am going to have to take extraordinary measures to fix this imperfection using chemical strippers and non-mineral based abrasives to avoid destroying the stop.

This is a good company. I reported that ithe strop I ordered was defective and they replaced it right away. The replacement was perfect. Its unavoidable that quality control will miss something from time to time but they stood by their product. I use my strop on my 1854 straight razor regularly with satisfaction.

The strop sent to me did not match the photo. Different design, and strop was only 2" wide, not 3" as advertised.
