Makes great square eggs!
Haven't tried scrambled, but I am sure it could do the job. Just whip them into a scrambled state before you pour them in (2 MEDIUM eggs is the capacity--I do 1 full large egg and 2 yolks--so I'll have a heart attack--big deal. I already have cancer, so I'm eating anything I can digest!). I cook grease-free fried eggs every day, and it's great. For medium texture yolk, cook 30 seconds, then 20 seconds. 50 seconds all together cooks it dry. Cook on a napkin or plate to avoid eggs that leak out becoming cooked to your microwave. You'll hear some popping (especially on non-scrambled eggs) but that's just the yolk popping. I think that's why this was invented--to prevent exploding eggs on the ceiling of your microwave. I suspect that scrambling would take about the same cooking time--do some tests--you can tell I have (LOL!) Absolutely NOTHING sticks to this thing--no spray pam required, but I use it for the little bit of flavor it imparts. Finished product comes out EXACTLY the size and shape of a regular slice of bread. It's a pricey item, but well worth the convenience and FUN--buy a couple of them to rotate if there is more than one person in your household.

PERFECT
As these are my third pair, I am just reposting my previous review.I read the one star reviews but I can’t disagree more. This product is absolutely perfect for cooking eggs in the microwave. Yes, It can pop and splatter but the end result is always a perfectly cooked square egg great for sandwiches. I put a paper towel down then wet a paper towel to cover it. Easy cleanup and cooks an absolutely perfect egg. I have been searching for months for the perfect square microwave egg cooker. I even bought ashtrays to try. Don’t judge. I was being creative. Wow did those make a mess and always deformed. These don’t do that. The locking lid makes these perfect. As a matter of fact, I am buying four more. Two for the camper. (Yes, I glamp). And another two for my other house. The product is true quality. Best square egg maker for the microwave. I do think it’s a bit pricey though but in the end, I am super happy I found these. By the way, it’s melted cheese if you did not realize. Enjoy

Difficult to clean
This cooker will not let you cook an egg without fat. The eggs stick to the inside and are a mess to clean. Even with oil spray, the egg doesn't come out cleanly. Getting it to close fully is hard, and it still might leak out while cooking. The timing on the package is inadequate to cook the egg, and you have to open it halfway through and redistribute the uncooked part to get a fully cooked egg. Can only hold one egg. Besides, microwave eggs are pretty rubbery and don't taste good, so really, find a different way to cook them. Hoping I can sell mine at a garage sale.

One Egg Perfectly Cooked
I always read both the positive and negative reviews so I knew to only use one egg. I was somewhat apprehensive because we get extra large eggs. After I sprayed the microegg and put in the egg, I gently centered it in the circle. As recommended by Mark Bittman, I carefully scored the white near the yolk. Since I like the egg in my sandwiches to be fully cooked and spread around. I pricked enough holes for the yolk to be flattened. Then I closed the lid securely and put it in the microwave. Because I used a large egg, it was very full. I set it for 40 seconds. At about 35 seconds, the lid was straining and a tiny bit of cooked egg white slurped out. Since it was fully cooked it wasn't a problem, but I can see where it is extremely important to make sure the lid is latched securely. I'll probably try 35 seconds next time. The resulting egg was beautifully cooked and came out easily.

good product but expensive
i bought this on amazon where i usually get great prices, so often i don't even look locally - mistake on this one. the next week i was in a local grocery store that is on the expensive side and they had this product a lot cheaper (like $8 compared to almost $12 online). while i like the product, i was kind of upset i hadn't gotten the best price. i would recommend you look locally for a better price before buying it online. i think it's kind of expensive for a single use kind of thing, but it does make an easy quick egg sandwich and it works like it's supposed to, so you are paying as much for the convenience as the silicone. if you think you'd make a lot of egg sandwiches it's worth it, other than that maybe not so much.

Way too shallow
These aren't big enough for large eggs. They leak and make a mess, and I neither want nor can find smaller eggs to buy.

Great way to cook eggs in the microwave
I seen this online and purchased it. It cooks eggs perfectly in less than 45 seconds. It’s square so the egg fits nicely on sliced bread for a sandwich. Easy clean up too.

One egg, use a paper towel under it
It works pretty well. If you have a large egg, it may overflow when you close it. Use a paper towel under it. Don't try it with two eggs. Most importantly, be advised it does not clean up as magically as the ads suggest. But still, it's nice for making an egg sandwich if your bread is the standard shape.

absolutely worthless
First, ignore any positive reviews. You know where they came from.Second, the design of this egg poacher makes no sense. The lid has a plug that inserts into lower part that leaves no room for one egg, never mind two eggs and a cheese slice.Third, you will spill a good part of the egg as you transfer it to the microwave.Fourth, the egg or eggs will spray the inside of the microwave leaving a significant clean-up job.Fifth, Amazon.ca should be ashamed of themselves.
