PERFECT
As these are my third pair, I am just reposting my previous review.I read the one star reviews but I can’t disagree more. This product is absolutely perfect for cooking eggs in the microwave. Yes, It can pop and splatter but the end result is always a perfectly cooked square egg great for sandwiches. I put a paper towel down then wet a paper towel to cover it. Easy cleanup and cooks an absolutely perfect egg. I have been searching for months for the perfect square microwave egg cooker. I even bought ashtrays to try. Don’t judge. I was being creative. Wow did those make a mess and always deformed. These don’t do that. The locking lid makes these perfect. As a matter of fact, I am buying four more. Two for the camper. (Yes, I glamp). And another two for my other house. The product is true quality. Best square egg maker for the microwave. I do think it’s a bit pricey though but in the end, I am super happy I found these. By the way, it’s melted cheese if you did not realize. Enjoy

Leaks During Cooking
I have a 1200 watt microwave, I have tried 1 large egg, 2 large eggs sprayed the unit. Nothing works; I even changed the power settings. Your eggs end up all over the microwave making a mess. Tried it without latching it and the eggs expand like a balloon and come out like rubber. This is a total disaster and money down the drain. Read all the reviews and you decide, not sure how anyone could give this an honest positive review. This review is real, if you buy one, please give it your review.

Not as bad as some say, but useless to me
I bought this one already Nordic Ware Microwave Eggs 'n Muffin Breakfast Pan, and I love it. I wanted the Casabella because it is shaped like a slice of bread (more or less). But the product description says you can just crack an egg in it, microwave, and voila! If you do that, you'll never get it out of the thing. It also says you can fit two eggs. That's ridiculous. I put two in and made a huge mess. So then I put one in and got a mess that at least stayed in the container, but more or less permanently. It's not that spraying Pam in it is such a big deal, but if it's advertised that you can just crack and egg in it and go, then it should be true. If you don't mind spraying it even though the instructions imply that you don't have to, and if you don't mind only being able to fit one egg in it, it's probably fine. But the one I linked to above is much better. You have to spray that one, too, but it says that on the packaging. And it has plenty of room for two eggs.

It's eggstastic!
Every so often, my bride finds some kitchen gadget that I love. This is definitely one of them. Quick, easy, reliable - a perfectly prepared egg in less than a minute.A little spritz of oil, about 35-45 seconds in the microwave and voila! Breakfast is served. We've used it a lot and it's held up famously. One of the better ten dollar kitchen gadget investments.

Great eggs, but this thing is too small
The good: The egg comes out very moist and tender (I scramble my egg with a bit of salt and milk), and if you use cooking spray, the eggs don't stick. The bad: you have to use cooking spray, it is hard to transfer without it wobble-wobbling, and YES it overflows. There is no way you could get 2 eggs in there! I buy either organic eggs or eggs from a local farmer and those type eggs tend to be extra large. Just 1 of the eggs I use overflows this gizmo if I try to close the flap. I have to use it "unlatched" which lets the egg cook thicker on the open end. It's annoying, but the eggs are so moist and perfect for popping on a slice of toasted homemade bread... I'll deal.

Surprized!
This actually works very well. One of the problems with most microwave egg cookers is you will always get a cooked yoke. This one is different. You center the yoke in the ring and close it up. I have a 1000 watt microwave and cook it at 50% power for 1 minute- 15 seconds. All the white is done and I still get yoke for my egg sandwich just like in a frying pan! I only ordered one but I am going to get another. I may have to adjust my cooking time to use two at once. These seem like they are a little pricey compared to other egg cookers but they are worth it.

Casabella Silicone Microegg
I bought a pair of these and have put them to use about a half dozen times now. The quality of the product gives me the impression they should hold up a reasonable enough amount of time to get your moneys worth of use. My only doubt of this is whether the silicone that holds the two halves together will hold up over time.I have a 1200 watt microwave, it took me 3 attempts to get the cooking time down on these before I had my desired results. First off I used large eggs, there is no way one of these will hold two, and I doubt even two small eggs. In preparation I sprayed the interior with cooking spray as suggested, and pierced the egg yolks in hopes of avoiding an explosion during the cooking process. One helpful tip: wrap the cooker with half a paper towel prior to placing in the microwave to help prevent splatter. My first attempt was a disaster, I added 10 seconds to the suggested 50 seconds because I was preparing two at a time. After cleaning the inside of my microwave due to a massive explosion of the eggs lol, I reduced the cooking time down to 50 seconds. This still resulted with an explosion but the radius of effect was smaller. I finally got the results I desired by lowering the cooking time down to 40 seconds, any lower I may add and the eggs probably wouldn't had fully cooked.Once you have the cooking times down for your particular microwaves wattage you'll love the results. The eggs do not come out rubbery or with any other unfavorable results and they actually are quite tasty. So in less than a minute you can have your light breakfast ready to go.Overall I am quite pleased with my purchase. This Microegg cooker delivers the results I was looking for and I believe it should hold up for a reasonable amount of time. I do recommend this product to others and most likely will purchase another pair.
