We purchased this easel to act as a display stand for 600 x 1200 tiled photograph mounted on a 5mm plywood board. Set up was really easy, unlike the other artist easel we had borrowed and it only took a couple of minutes to assemble. The result was stable and also looked good. For outside use it would definitely need to be ballasted.

Sleek, easy to assemble and very sturdy. I have a huge wooden easel and have swapped to this one.

I know you get what you pay for but even the screws on this thing are plastic, everything just rattles out if its in your care for more than a minute. The feet fell of, most of the screws are missing. It rubbish sorry.

Seems quite flimsy and wobbly, I certainly wouldn't describe it as sturdy. A little bit disappointed but does the job...

For a portable easel, this works just fine. Its a little flimsy and you have to make sure you spread the legs out well and don't push too hard, but its not like it feels like it will fall down all the time under normal use. The main downside is the clip at the top and lip at the bottom that hold the canvas can leave you with missed patches if you don't rememebr to move them out the way as you paint around them.

The easel is excellent. It just the instructions a slightly let down, hence the four star, as it didn't give clear instructions how to extend it to its full height for approx 55" canvases. And incidentally, for future buyers, ensure you have a screw driver handy especially if you are on your travels, because you'll need it to assemble the canvas holder bar. Otherwise, its an excellent equipment!

Good item, not overly sturdy but it is moveable.

One of the very very few available at this height and ability to hold taller white board that I could find online, and I am a thorough researcher. Lol! Arrived with a few small marks but customer service was really lovely to deal with. (Thank you Fudesy). I would recommend it for use with white boards I believe mine is 90x60cm and it holds it well.

I bought this because I specifically wanted an easy to store easel as my previous big wooden one was too heavy and clumsy. I only paint indoors so this is just about ok for me but it is very light weight so I don't think it'd be good en plein air. it wobble quite a lot with a canvas in place and I am looking for ways to stabilise it a bit. Still quite pleased with it though

Despite being very lightweight - it is strong. Lightweight is good because then it is easy to transport or lift around the room. Some easels are very heavy to get their strength. I have a whiteboard attached! So a heavy whiteboard. But even though it feels too heavy for it the easel copes. Occasionally I re-tighten the grip at the top because to moveit around I grab the whiteboard and carry it. But the easel is not struggling. After a few months of use yeah - this is what it is. Lightweight, strong. Adjusting it now and again is fine. Cos it gets some abuse. Very good product.

Easy to transport and to set up - not so good in breezy weather so you need something heavy to hold it down but very pleased with it!!

Its decent, light and easy to move around, but also quite sturdy. Good value for the price. But the legs do move around quite easily

They are what they are, perfect for the occasional event but I wouldn’t stand any Van Gogh on them.
