I wish that I had purchased this sooner
I postponed purchasing this item for years and I’m ashamed to say that I really should have bought this much, much sooner. It is perfect for traveling, even if it’s just to your front porch. I made a commitment to draw every day and this portable product makes this so much easier. And, no, it’s not a Mason Jar!This is such a great price and the various pieces nest inside of each other for portability. Once put together, it’s very stable and holds sufficient water.Experienced Artists have done most of the leg work for recommended products, geared towards helping those of us who are beginners avoid unnecessary purchases. I wish that I had listened sooner. (Smile)It’s not a mason jar, it’s better!

Great for home or travel watercolor
I use this little set all the time for my at home watercolor buckets. They work great and having 3 means I keep clean water for longer yet I can work in a smaller space since I don't have a studio set up at home. They also function very well on the go! I love that they nestle in together for compact storage. Another great feature for those of us without studio space! I have to break down and put away my supplies so this works out wonderfully for me. Mine have quite the stained worn in look now! Would definitely purchase again if I needed a second set.

Love this!
I am an artist and art therapist for over 20 years, and just got this for a faceprinting kit. It's very small but perfect. I love using it at home and taking it with me. The nesting three pieces take up no space making it great to take along or sit next to me when I draw from the couch as I'm prone to do. It is fairly easy to paint a good while if you keep your dark colors in one well. I also bought the guerrilla brush washer. It's tiny, but amazing how well it cleans a brush if filled with half coconut oil and half brush or dish soap. Together, they are fantastic for any of my water-based media or for face paints.

Useful, my go to water containers
This is great for travel, but I end up using it all the time at home. Using one for light colors, one for dark and one for clean water. They fit together nicely for travel when weight and space is an issue. Best part - you'll never mistake it for your drinking water!

This set of containers works great for rinsing inks from pens
This set of containers works great for rinsing inks from pens. A photo is attached showing used water where I rinsed a plastic pipet between mixing inks. The first bin is used for the initial rinse. I then draw ink up into the pipet from the middle container then expel the rinse into the first (dirtiest) one. When the rinse looks fairly clean, I pull water from the third container and empty that rinse into the first container as well. It's a very convenient way the clean tools without running water. When done, it is easy to rinse out the containers, dry and then nest them together so that they don't take up much space.I recommend using the bail (handle) to pick up the full containers. Picking up by grasping one of the containers is likely to separate it from the others. Using the bail will prevent that problem. These are quite small and work well for my needs.

Smaller than expected
These are okay for outdoor painting, but they are a little flimsier and smaller than I expected.

My favorite pleine air water container!
Best travel water bucket available for watercolor. Small yet large enough for Pleine air painting. Easily fits into a bag or guerilla box and travel brushes can fit inside to save space. This goes every where with me in my daily Pleine air shoulder bag. Sturdy plastic too, I had one for years and it never cracked or chipped (I lost it, hence the new purchase).

Not worth the almost $10.00
This product is not worth the almost 10.00 you pay for it. It is super small, maybe if you travel this would be good but again it's worth about 5 bucks max.
