Gas stuff
Don’t let the squirrels get to it first! Mine needed iron bar packaging. Salvaged loaf was delicious.

It doesn't look like Jewish Rye
I grew up back East in New Jersey. Our town was loaded with Jewish Bakeries and Delis. The rye bread was out of this world with flavor. After moving out here to the Pacific Northwest, I have been looking all over for Jewish Rye Bread. I found one but that company sadly went out of business a few years ago. Since then, I've been looking again for a substitute. This bread does not look like or taste like a traditional Jewish Rye Bread. There were no caraway seeds, the loaf does not have the traditional obround look, and it doesn't have the texture of traditional Jewish Rye Bread. I believe one of the reasons is that there is not enough Rye flour in the ingredients.

Delicious Rye Bread!
Okay, now I have never spent this much on bread ($24 for 2 loafs) but Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods were all out for about a week and I recently had knee surgery and can't get out to the supermarket. I am diabetic and Rye bread is really the only bread I can eat that I really like. I came across Stern's Rye Fresh Bread on Amazon and the reviews were awesome, its the Holidays so I ordered to treat myself. When I received my order I immediately opened the box and I automatically got a whiff of the Rye bread and it smelled great! I toasted one piece and added a little butter and this Rye bread was delicious! Fresh, hearty and has a little chew to it. Its Wonderful! Yes, a bit pricey but I'm not disappointed!

Absolutely The Worst
This is the worst Ryebread I have ever tasted in my life. I initially ordered this from Stern’s bakery where I usually get lovely cakes and cookies . instead, somehow they must be affiliated with Korn’s bakery because this is what was delivered and it is by far stale and bitter tasting. I had contacted them initially because they sent me the wrong thing and sent pumpernickel bread and they asked me to send pictures six times and said they didn’t receive them. Finally Flora said she would send replacements with the Ryebread and this is outrageously terrible. I have to tell you do not do not order from this company. I am requesting a refund and warning anyone not to use this company.

Quality is going in the wrong direction
This review would have been 5 stars based on my prior purchases. The bread itself is good, although extremely expensive. But this order arrived with the plastic bag containing the bread all ripped open down the seam. That means you can't really trust it to eat it. And since it's a food product, you can't return it. I think someone at that company needs to learn how to handle and pack their orders.
