Arkansas 3 Sharpening Stone Kit - 2" x 6"

Very nice sharpening stones. All three were slightly crowned. A quick trip to the lapping plate and they were all nice and flat.

Stones are poorly lapped meaning surface is not true or flat (true flat surface is required for knife sharpening) the soft stone distorted the edge of my blade due to it not being flat. Boxes have card board type bottom very poor fit of stones. These stones are $20-30 quality not a premium stone save your money

These stones are great at what they do, but you'll find that the wood cases they're shipped in do not fit the stone snugly, have no means of clasping shut, and the edges of the lower half of the case create a very thin gap between the top of the stone and the wood that can occasionally cause issues with maintaining the proper angle of the blade while sharpening close to the hilt. Overall, a great set that only needs minor tweaks.

Works as advertised, the first two is for your rough hone, I use the black surgical stone for the the really fine edge and maintaining. I use a super steel Benchmade for my EDC and it takes awhile to get a good edge because the steel is so hard, but these stones work awesome. The wood boxes are attractive and practical.

Good TRUE Arkansas stones. The only problem I have with them is people wanting to borrow them after I sharpen their knife.

Who knew sharpening an axe could be so elegant. Nice job with the wooden boxes! These stones are substantial and worth the money.

Great stones for wood carving tools for fine cutting edge thatHolds up to carving.

Nice and big. They work fine for small knives and are outstanding for your largest knives. The wooden boxes they come in are an added bonus in caring for the stones.
