Best fly rod
I am 2 years into this rod as a primary saltwater rod. I’ve caught 32inch red drum, kingfish, , sea trout, ribbon fish and many more. This rod is an 8/9 weight that casts like a 6 weight. Yet it has excellent ability to roll cast and enough backbone to manhandle large fish out of docks and oyster beds. I also have sage and orvis rods as well, but I prefer this light reliable rod instead. It casts better and is light enough to keep your wrists and arms fresh all day.Just an update, this going strong. It has handled the salt very well. No signs of corrosion . I’d still highly recommend it.

well built Rod
this is a 9 foot 8/9 Wt fast action rod, i paired it with an inexpensive 7/8 Wt reel and standard WF8F line. it casts well and loads up and shoots smoothly. I've used it with streamers and poppers for bass fishing, and it's cast 3" zonker streamers without any issue.this is a nice well built rod, easily as good as the $375 reddington setup i've used before.
