Great sound
The sound is terrific! I love the rose gold color of the metal, very nice! Appreciate the extra supplies included (extra ear bud covers, etc). Very satisfied with my new earphones.

Eh headphones.
I received the KEF M100 Hi-Fi in-Ear Headphones earbuds as a Christmas present. I was excited to try them out since since I had read excellent reviews. The packaging was great and the product was made with top notch materials. Unfortunately the sound did not meet my expectations. I used them with my Apple iPhone and it seems I could not get them loud enough to see their real potential. Thus, I returned them.

Very good but not great
Very good but not great. I own Kef products so I bought these on rep alone. I do like them, but will go in a different direction when (not if) they break.

Not even close to being worth the money.
I positively hate these headphones. With the small or medium adapter, they don't fit. They fall out when I'm at the gym (using weights, not even running), the microphone and controls are in an awkward position and they're difficult to use. The sound is good, but everything else is so horrible, and at $100 it's a complete waste of money. If I could return them I would.

Disappointed
I have KEF speakers at home so I was excited to try M100. I really want to like it but unfortunately it is not working out for me.1. Fit. No matter what I try or how many times I try, they do not fit comfortably in my ears. Right side seem to get loose very quickly. Perhaps due to the remote control being on that side.2. Sound. First of all, volume coming out of left and right are not equal. This is extremely bothering. I tried other pairs (different brands) and have no such issue.Hope this is helpful.

Great for crisp vocals and instruments
- FittingI've read about some problems of it not fitting properly and I'll make an attempt to help alleviate this considering the odd shape of these earphones. Granted everyone's ear is a little different but this seems to work for me and it seems more secure compared to other "basic" shapes. If you google images of ears, you will notice that most have a little "pocket" at the bottom of the part before the hole. I think the protruding wedge of the plastic part is supposed to go in there and press the rubber dome into the hole. In this way of fitting, the stem points more forward than perhaps what is more intuitive, where most earphones are installed stem more downward to resemble a hook and straighten out the dangling wire and more match with gravity I guess. So what you're supposed to do is stick the rubber dome into the hole and then pivot it downward to lodge the plastic wedge into the pocket. This way, it sort of "shims" the rubber dome into the hole to seal it with a wee bit of pressure.- PerformanceI'm not a big music aficionado, so I don't really know what exactly "technical" to look for, but I've run a couple of methodical tests vs. a "bass heavy" earphone I have, specifically the Thinksound TS02 wooden earphones. So follows is a rather subjective layman description of what I found running a couple of Youtube clips so you can easily find them yourself and imagine it from my perspective."A Million Dreams - The Greatest Showman Cast" Max Comfortable Volume: 18/100 M100 vs. 10/100 TS02 M100 seems more like you are there live listening to their actual voice. TS02 seems a bit more like you are listening to them through TV or other electronic player. When Hugh Jackman and Michelle Williams come up, M100 sounds like the background music supports the singer. TS02 sounds like they are trying to compete with the background music, particularly the drumming."Electric Daisy Violin - Lindsey Stirling" Max Comfortable Volume: 12/100 M100 vs. 8/100 TS02 M100 seems to enhance the violin more. TS02 seems to make the drumming stand out, and then the violin is more in the background to "complement" the beats."Crystalize (Dubstep Violin) - Lindsey Stirling" Max Comfortable Volume: 12/100 M100 vs. 8/100 TS02 M100 seems to bring out the violin more and the Dubstep is more in the background, but often on more equal footing as well. Also, I noticed that the violin seems to "send chills" at times, an experience I don't recall with this clip when I use other past earphones before the M100. TS02 seems to emphasize the Dubstep more and at times the drumming seems to overwhelm parts of the violin causing you to switch focus to that aspect of the song.In case it matters, the device I used is an MSI Z270 Gaming Plus motherboard with claims "Audio Boost" and "Audio Capacitors". But I also tested It on an ASUS Transformer Mini tablet and although it does sound "better quality" overall from the PC, my descriptions would remain the same except for the "Max Comfortable Volume", which is exactly double (36/20, 24/16 respectively). Curiously, I adjusted the volume blind (via button increments of 2) and the PC vs. tablet Windows 10 volume difference turned out to be exactly 2x.- SummarySo my conclusion having used this for a few months…Presuming it fits your ear pocket and you put it on right, it holds better than the standard earphone. The KEF M100 provides a very clear sound emphasizing vocals and primary instruments. For that purpose, it works noticeably well. If you want something that makes you feel like you're in a club, this is probably not the best and you should go for a Beats or something which exaggerate the "booms" more. Like if I was playing an action game, I would prefer to use the Thinksound TS02. However, for a good voiceover RPG, perhaps the M100 would be better for immersion.

No funcionó bien

Great Sound and great style
Brilliant sound. For only the second time in buying audio equipment I can say I'm hearing every penny I've paid. These are impressive across all frequencies and not over basey as I've found with other headphones
