I discovered the way in which bromelain helps digestion some years ago, when I was taking a different product. Unfortunately, I had to discontinue this product because it contained artificial sweetener! That should be unthinkable, but it's not. Later, I discovered that I am allergic to magnesium stearate. Many, many so-called natural products contain this noxious substance (because it helps the machines that fill the capsules), and people seem to be oblivious to the harm it can do. Granted, not much is included in one capsule, but people don't just take one. They take hundreds or even tens of thousands over a lifetime, and it is cumulative. It interferes with absorption.Because I can no longer digest onions, I looked for a product that contained this effective enzyme that contained neither an artificial sweetener nor magnesium stearate. (And by the way, people need to take note: as our population ages, more and more people will be unable to digest onions, yet they are included in so many prepared foods, it limits one's choices to about 10% of what is on the market). There are three lists of common allergens. The first includes things like wheat, soy, eggs, and milk. Onions are on the second list. Onions are used because they are cheap and add a bit of sweet taste to food. Garlic works just as well, and most people aren't allergic to garlic in moderation, but it's much more expensive. If for some reason I have to eat onions, a single capsule of this product works wonders.This particular formulation of bromelain works very, very well, and it is inexpensive. I absolutely do not hesitate to recommend it to anybody. This pineapple enzyme is one of the best digestive aids. If you suffer from GERD or any related condition, try this product BEFORE you start taking a toxic pharmaceutical drug. Those drugs interfere with digestion so badly that it can honestly be said that they cause malnutrition. Also keep in mind that most over the counter antacids contain aluminum. Any person who takes those and drinks fluoridated water is setting himself up for Alzheimer's. The combination of the two attacks neurons and destroys them.Also included in this product are other herbs which are very helpful for digestion, including ginger.Thumbs up on this one. Try it! (And if this one doesn't work, try another, but I'll wager this one will work just fine).

The bromelain works great on my knee joints. Can't even do a full flight of stairs without it....A little disappointed with my last order though. I bought these a few months ago and got two bottles for the price I paid for one this time. A very deceiving change in the product description from the last order.

This bromelain supplement works well and is great quality! Lots of benefits so do your research, I use it for digestion. It's easy to take and I haven't had any negative side effects. I appreciate that there are no extra fillers like most other supplements have. I wish more companies would stop adding unnecessary harmful fillers. Will definitely repurchase!
