Unpleasant aroma.
Most expensive Japanese incense I've ever bought also turns out to be the worst. No delicate fruit scent here but some slightly perfumed and very woodsy foulness. If you are into that sort of thing, you'll be pleased to know that a stick lasted about 18 minutes rather than 15.
