Even if you vacuum the rug, it picks up dirt very fast and the white blends with the gray quickly. I thought this rug would be great in a casual area, but not so. It is beautiful but needs extremely high maintenance. If you don't have in mind to put it in an area that gets walked through multiple times a day, then this is the rug for you! If you want the original beauty of this rug, you need to hardly use it.

This rug put my living room on another level. Definitely a show piece.

This carpet is excellent and matches my livingroom decor to a tee. When I first opened it, it had a distinct smell to it(nothing Lysol and vaccuming) couldn't handle.Other than the smell, this carpet was worth the coins!!!
