So far it held up well no leaks and it is a better construction than the stock plastic.

Heater return line hole was a little too loose for the hose, suggest having a new O Ring on hand as this kit does not include it. Temperature sensor retainer clip that comes with this kit is also useless so make sure you save the retainer clip off your old pumps temp sensor!!! The two big gaskets included are to replace the gasket inside the inlet and outlet hose connector for those wondering. If you’re having problems with the union being too tight you can try putting the gaskets from the new one on your old union. Definitely recommend using aluminum water pump because the OEM water pumps plastic housing is known for cracking and breaking overtime!!!

Product fits, but squeals and still leaks. Still showing a CEL.. junk, do not buy.. I’ve been adding coolant for months because I didn’t have time to change it out again. Spend a little extra and do it once. So I can return it, and I had to take my car in to have them put a oem part in.. should’ve just done that the first time.. live and learn I guess.

Work fine so far! Just wish it would lasts more than the plastic ones (OEM)!

Fit and works like factory with no problems and at a fraction of price

The fitment is good for my 2015 VW Tiguan. However, the O ring gaskets for the inlet and outlet pipes are of no use. They prevented me from being able to get the hoses back on. Also, the retainer clip for the thermostat is garbage. The thermostat fell out when I was on the highway on the way to take my wife to her Dr's appointment. All the coolant blasted out thru the hole where the thermostat is supposed to STAY IN. Luckily I had all the tools and a tube of gasket sealant and a jug of water in the car to fix it. It was a bad day on the side of the highway removing the top half of the motor to get to the water pump.I would only recommend because it's a solid aluminum water pump which is better than the plastic one VW put on it from the factory.Get a better thermostat retainer clip and you're good to go.
