Panasonic ES-RT37 Wet and Dry Rechargeable Electric 3-Blade Shaver for Men (100-240 V)

At it's price ,it's probably one of the best foil shavers in the world.Panasonic have been making shavers since the 1950s, and previously linked with Philips later going their own way with Panasonic making foil and Philips making rotary shavers.I previously bought a high end Panasonic shaver which has had its day. At several times the price of this model, it served me well for nearly 20 years with no problems, replacing blades and battery when required,however this new model gives exactly the same quality shave with outstanding results for a fraction of the price and whilst being slightly louder, the build quality and shave is really first class, being able to operate both in wet and dry options with a lion power source and fast charging, I can highly recommend this product.

I love this shaver. Comfortable to hold, shaves closely and quickly. No grazing of skin even on top lip. Charges quickly.On the downside, as others have noted, the battery will just die on you with no notice. The blue low power light comes on then a few seconds later the shaver stops. Unfortunate that it will not work whilst plugged in as you have to either go out half shaved or get out the wet gear. I find the plastic guard a bit clunky. At the rate the hairs are falling out of the little brush, I will soon need to buy a soft toothbrush to clean it.Despite these little faults, I really do like the shaver and well worth the four stars.

I thought I would try a change to my usual make of electric shaver which I won't mention but a good brand. The first difference I noticed upon switching on was that it sounded a slightly faster motor and powerful. The cut is very good even not using as a wet & dry. Obviously only time will tell on how long the cutters stay sharp but I do believe they're stainless steel and the design looks like you can replace just the cutters cheaply. They aren't built into an expensive head. Now the battery really is good. It just goes and goes much further than my past shavers so corners have definitely not been cut with the quality of the battery. The shape of the shaver is very comfortable to hold and the sides have a nice rubbery feel.The quality of shave and closeness to the skin exceeds more expensive ones I've had and you don't have to press hard and make your skin sore to obtain a close shave either. From the details I read before purchase it seems Panasonic have pride in the care of sharpening and angles used on their cutters and who knows better than the Japanese on the art of producing exceptional blades.The price for such a nice quality shaver as this is truly outstanding and I'm glad I decided to try a Panasonic.

This is an extremely attractively priced electric shaver from one of the top makes - and it does shave well. The problem is the battery. I only use it to shave my top lip daily, which takes around 3-4 seconds. I have to recharge the shaver every seven days to get the less than 30 seconds shaving before the battery runs out of power. I have no idea how long the battery would last for a full shave each day. And this is not a one-off. My current shaver is a replacement from my original order - my brand new shaver wouldn't recharge at all - which Amazon very quickly replaced. I've used Panasonic's rechargeable shavers in the past and they've given sterling service, but this one is a stinker.

It's a decent shave but the battery life is poor. I had one before on another site and returned it due to that but thought it was faulty but no, it doesn't last an hour. For the price, if it's on offer, I would recommend though

As someone with a muscle wasting disease, my grip and arm strength are limited. It's very difficult to apply even pressure. Despite this, the shave was really smooth and irritation was only temporary. The body is also really sleek and easy grip. The device is feather light and charges really quickly as well.I've never seen a device in this price range that also adapts to the contours of your face. An absolute steal at £30.The only downside is that the charging indicator doesn't work on my device, but that honestly doesn't bother me at allThis device has given me my independence back. My husband’s assessment: This is a good value razor with just one simple trimmer attachment. I’ve found it comfortable to use. It charges in an hour and gives a week’s worth of shaves, so it’s ideal for a few days way without the need to recharge. It doesn’t run while plugged in - this would be a good safety feature given that it is a wet and dry razor.This is my second of this model and I was very happy with the first one. It still held its charge even after several years of use. The only problem was that the clip on the trimmer no longer held the blade extended - but it worked perfectly well if you held it in place. This is the reason I have knocked off one star.The reason I bought a replacement was that I felt that it was time for a new foil and cutter set, and it was cheaper to buy a whole new razor! Still, I now have a fully functioning trimmer, so a worthwhile purchase
