Great matte finish. Restyle throughout the day easily. Use a little for a natural loose windswept style or use a bit more in damp hair for a stronger shinier hold. Washes out easily. No offensive smell. Expensive but very good. Can be extremely *grabby* in dry hair when you first apply it, so be careful or you will pull quite a lot of hair out as you style. Best to rub and spread in damp hands to make application a little gentler.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I’ve struggled finding a hair product I like, but the search is over. By far the best product ive come across. Smells great, hold is great, doesn’t make your hair look greasy, easy to apply.

The Brickell Pomade is by far the best hair styling product I’ve come across. Perfect hold with a Matt finish and not heavy at all. Smell is also amazing. Will be buying again.

I’ve tried dozens of pomades over the years, and I keep coming back to Brickell. This is the third one I’ve used from them, and it’s another great option. If you’re after super strong hold, this isn’t it—but if you want something that adds volume, keeps your hair in place, and still looks natural with zero shine, this stuff is spot on. No crunchy or sticky feel, no weird buildup, and it washes out easily. Smells clean too. It’s an easy go-to for daily use.

This pomade is amazing. I didn't know what to expect.... have never seen it in an Aussie store before, if it is even sold here domestically, other than on Amazon? Anyway, I picked some up during the Prime sales, so it was around $30 AUD for the container. Anyway, getting to the review! I love it. I have short-to-medium hair, quite thick, as a guy in his late 20s, whose hair otherwise - without product - looks completely lifeless. I will warn you - this stuff... you really only need about the size of a 10 cent coin, if that, otherwise it's too much. And as someone else said - it's a good idea to slightly wet your hands as you put the product through your hair. The reason being that it feels VERY strong when you put it in - it can almost be too hard to even style your hair. The "water on your hands trick" does help. Anyway, regardless of which way I do it, it looks great, and it holds literally from 8am to 10pm, the entire business day for me. I have my hair swept to the left and upwards (short, not like Justin Bieber lol) and it keeps it there, all day, whilst providing a heap of texture, and it truly is a matte finish - it's not shiny or glossy, at all. It just literally looks like my hair is naturally swept that way, with zero product added. Over the first hour or so, the wax kinda... "sinks into" the hair, and after that point, it becomes a lot easier to re-style throughout the day. But again, you rarely need to do that - it's that strong. But again, it's not that horrible, gel-type strong feeling. The great thing is that even if you get straight into the shower after putting it in (I had to do this once for various reasons), it just melts out of your hair with water alone, let alone once you've used shampoo (or even to the extreme of conditioner). I hate it when pomades and hair products don't come out easily - but this one does. Now, I won't list any of the domestic (Aussie) companies that produce pomades and hair products for men. I've tried many of them, and they all have their pros and cons, and I continue to buy some (e.g. a featherweight). However, this wax has truly impressed me, and it's my daily go-to. I will happily pay the full $40 when the time comes for a new batch. When it arrives, it looks tiny, but it's filled to the brim and you need such a tiny amount. I really hope that it takes off here, so that we can keep getting access to the product via Amazon, because I really like it. Final words - 5/5 from me, it's my daily driver after what... nineteen years of styling my hair with products. It gives texture, it holds all day, it washes out easily, and the aroma is refreshing yet not offensive or strong at all (a faint eucalyptus/minty aroma). I really really like it, and my partner loves the way my hair looks, and I've had complements from various other people - friends, family and colleagues - and that says it all, really! But again - this may not be for your hair. Make sure to really read the product description from Brickell and the reviews for a product before buying it. Make sure that the hold strength, look (shine vs matte), materials (wax-based vs the others), texture et cetera are all appropriate for you! Give it a go - you won't be disappointed!
