It’s solid
I had a similar one a few years ago and it stoped working so I was worried this new one will do the same so I got the warranty. So far so good!

Disaster
The instructions said to mount the gate attachment 8 3/4” from the pivot point. Wrong.The gate opened about 20*. I moved it as far as I could and it was better.Then as the gate opened the body of the closer pinched the gate to once again hinder the openingTook it all down and ended up placing shims under the mounting bracket and under the gate attachment to get this closer to work properly.
