Where are the ingredients sourced?  Recently became aware most of our seeds come from China and have tested high for metal contamination. Thank you!

Hi Annemarie,

We currently source all of our Almonds, Walnuts, and Pecans from California.
We use a small amount of Cashews, which are from Southeast Asia.
The only seeds that we use that come (often, but not exclusively) from China are Pumpkin Seeds, and those are certified organic.
The only granola we offer that contains pumpkin seeds is our Maple-Curry flavor.
None of our other flavors contain any nuts or seeds that are potentially from China.

Hi Stacey,

I am so sorry that you feel the Amazon listing price for our 3-pack of granola is out of line.  But I AM excited that you have positive compliments to offer about the granola itself.  Thank you!  The retail price for our granolas are $8.99 each.  So a 3-pack at the store will typically run about $27.  We do not have control over what the stores actually decide to charge, so there is some pricing variance on the market.

On Amazon, we have to factor in the fee that we pay the platform as an intermediary, and also account for the shipping costs that deliver the product conveniently to your doorstep.  Additionally, we strongly support our brick-and-mortar grocery outlets (who support us!) so we are careful not to undercut them.

I hope this offers some useful insight into the pricing, and gives some reassurance that we are not trying to deviate from our standard of offering what we believe to be the best possible product at the best overall value. Is the blueberry crumble flavor the same as the previous blueberry-cardamom granola?  (the best flavor!)

Blueberry Crumble is a revision of our previous Blueberry-Cardamom. It’s still loaded with whole nuts, baked with pure blueberry purée, and still spiced with cardamom.  But we’ve added coconut, and adjusted the recipe to be lighter, crisper, and more berry-forward. We think we have improved on an already good product. Hopefully you’ll agree!
