This stuff is great for keeping algae away from my saltwater tank, just don't put to much, I have a 180gl and I put just a little recommended use, and replace them every 4 months, everyone is going to be different depending how much fish and corals you have.

Chemi pure blue is a must have to all the fish keeps out there . It’s the solution to keeping your tank clear and fresh looking . I use it in my fx6 filters and it makes my water look crystal clear and keeps my fish healthy . Def get it it’s a must have .

Absolutely LOVE this stuff. I use it in my 75g grow out tank as well as my 2 180 Gallon Cichlid tanks and have been using it for years. It keeps your water CRYSTAL CLEAR and last forever as well as cleans up very easily! The only issue I have with it is I feel like it is extremely overpriced. Its great yes, but way too pricey! That being said I will continue to buy and use it. The water in my bigger tanks always used to look a little foggy and have a cloudy haze to them until I started using this stuff. I get compliments all the time and how nice and clean my tanks look and outside of regular maintenance and keeping my parameters n check I give credit to Chemi-Pure Blue ...once you try it you wont go without it , even if it is overpriced! :)

I always wanted to believe in chemi pure. I tried it and took it out-many times over the last 30 years of marine aquarium keeping. I was just never happy with it. It's been years using another medium and honestly I wanted a little more pop out of mine. I read all the reviews. People love it and on and on. Okay I'll try it. Started with a small 5 oz and an 11 oz in the filter sock of my sump. It's just ok I thought. Left it in a week then threw in another 11 oz pouch and bam my tank has never looked this good in my entire life.I'm not one who tries anything new. I thought my old stuff was great. It still is but nothing like this. Incredible.I have a 75 mixed reef. 20 gallon sump. The amount I'm using is ridiculously too much but it's working.I wish it was cheaper and I don't think it will last near 4 months but I'm going to go with it for awhile and update along the way.Give it a try.

I usually don't review anything but when I do I really like a product. I put this in my always cloudy 125 gallon tank canister filter and not ever 24 hours later its super clear. Quite spendy for sure but man it really cleans up your tank.
