Good for Home and Car
Very bright for such a small pen light. Easy to hold. Good to have in the car, not sturdy enough for construction or any situation where it could be banged around or dropped...

It's always handy to have a penlight.
This is a great high quality penlight. Lightweight and great for small kids to use because it's so slim. I use it multiple times a week. Get one.

Oh my giddy aunt
I bought this item because it looked very similar to the sonic screwdriver used by the 2nd Doctor in the TV show Doctor Who. It is a very sturdy device it has a pretty powerful bulb, and I use it now for more than just a cosplay item. It is great for every day use.

great pen light, mostly
I love these, had a couple that I've used for years and there's a couple quirks that you need to know.I think they're the perfect brightness for most applications, IE if you're trying to find something in the dark without trying to blind you. Best for about 6 inches to 10-15 feet max. It's not a pin point focus light. It has a wide angle that throws, but because it's 30 lumen it works really well. You may get flickering or rattling. The spring inside that presses against the batteries on the top might need more spring tension. This can be the cause of rattling too. I found one sticky note wrapped around both batteries and then inserted into the flashlight stops the rattling. The clip (more specifically the plastic housing it sits into) sucks. If it keeps coming out just put some super glue on it and stick it back in and let it sit and that should fix it.I prefer this light over ones that cost anywhere from 3 to 10 times more than this one and the AAA pen sized form factor is perfect.

This little light packs a serious punch, tremendous value
I have serious professional flashlights for when I need gobs of light, but I can't always have those on me. I tried this out because it's so cheap why not. I was blown away. For its size, it's very bright and feels great to hold. I keep one in my work belt and I ended up buying 3 in total for gifts.

It's actually pretty embarrassing. I need to go to a hardware ...
Wow... I bought a similar pen light about 5 years ago at a Lowe's store, and I've seen the same thing at Home Depot before. Tried ordering it online to save myself a trip to the store. They sent me one that's slightly different but in an important way. The part that you screw together to hold the battery in is made of plastic (the one I had before is made of metal). This product started within the first month or 2 to flicker when it was supposed to be on. The connection that connects the battery power to the light is obviously loose.. but the top is screwed on as much as it can be. Now, 6 months in.. I literally have to smack the thing 3-10 times and hold it at a certain angle every time I want to use it. It's actually pretty embarrassing. I need to go to a hardware store and get a new real one (hopefully they have the old model, not this cheap ripoff).I reached out to the company that sold it to me, and they said they'd exchange it after I send this one back. Did not offer to pay for shipping. I should have returned it after the first flicker.

It fits the need.
I got it for my wife to use for reading.
