Review: Awesome Bedtime Story - This is an excellent book to read with with or to small kids. It’s fun and the art is sweet as well as joyfully colorful. The story reflects all the little things your little ones might get into - playing too much in the tub, being afraid of storms - through the character of Rosie the Dragon and then handles them with kindness and compassion through the character of Charlie who is also a young kid! It was a real treat for the children I read it to and I will be purchasing the other Charlie and Rosie the Dragon book as well. Review: This was a delightful book for my 6 year old. We read it together. She enjoys Rosie as a character and says her name is cute, she makes good splashes and great big bubbles. I highly recommend this book for children 5-7. - This was a delightful book. I read it with my 6 year-old together and she loves it. Rosie as a character is fun and inviting. The author brings the children into the story and Charlie as a character shares with the children important principles and practice for good living.

Funny, Cute
Charlie and Rosie, Charlie’s pet dragon, are best friends and superheroes. However, Rosie does not like bedtime! Enchanting, vivid pictures illustrate all the mischief Rosie gets into to avoid bedtime. Poor Charlie has his hands full! The antics are laugh-out-loud funny, but also, in some cases, a little scary. (I don’t want to give any spoilers.) Rosie’s creative and sometimes unintentional consequences while trying to avoid bedtime may cause some parents to feel the story sets a bad example. Yet the story is not written to teach as much as to entertain. Little children may recognize themselves and Rosie’s antics in the story. Even though some of the shenanigans could hardly be duplicated, Rosie the Dragon and Charlie Say Goodnight does offer an opportunity to teach the importance of bedtime. Overall, the story is cute and enjoyable. The illustrations are bright and are true to the adventures. Rosie the Dragon and Charlie Say Goodnight is a picture book. The story should be easy for a beginning reader with a little help from a parent or sibling. It’s a cute story to read to children from Pre-K up.

Getting Ready for Bed w/a Dragon
Overall this is a cute story and my 5 yr old seemed to enjoy it. There are other books w/these 2 characters. This book is about Charlie, the boy, and his dragon, Rosie, getting ready for bed. Charlie goes over what needs to be done to get ready for bed and how having a checklist can help. It's a fun read and has some good getting ready for bed tips for kids.

Review for “Rosie the Dragon and Charlie”
I love reading children’s books! I enjoy reading children’s books to my grandchildren like I did when my adult children were younger! I have to say the illustrations are captivating! Lots of adventure and bold colors! Charlie is a unique young boy. He has Rosie who is his pet dragon. They love to play superheroes. Charlie also had to be aware of Rosie’s bedtime. He is a good dragon owner! Charlie is very prepared to help Rosie settle in for the night. He has a long checklist of different things to do. For instance filling a water bottle, finding Rosie’s favorite stuffed animal Vern, and grabbing other essential supplies!! Rosie is such a delightful dragon! I found myself laughing throughout the story especially when it was bath time! Charlie is a good dragon owner! He thinks of everything! Bedtime is a success!

A very relatable bedtime story
This book was very sweet and beautifully illustrated. We have definitely gone through most of these bedtime rituals! I loved the idea of making a plan to follow for bedtime challenges and the reality that even the best plans don’t always go smoothly, but we get through it.

The illustrations were brilliant. . .the story was okay.
Your child may recognize their bedtime antics in the character Rosie. Parents will empathize with Charlie. You both will enjoy the time spent together! Beware this story may trigger bedtime requests for extra snuggles, more water, or a pet dragon.

Bright colourful pages kept the interest of my 3,4and 5year old twins. They have learned a few tricks they were not aware of such as the use of fruit juice later in the day. Helped me to show that we are a near normal family with lists to do daily.

I read this eBook with my Prime membership, and fell in love with it so much that I immediately ordered the hardback edition! I enjoyed the role reversal, as Charlie tackles the many familiar issues that parents will recognise as he tries to settle Rosie, his pet dragon, down to sleep at night. The colourful illustrations are lots of fun, and I can’t wait to share this cute and funny book with younger family members!
