This item arrived quickly and was as described. I couldn't wait to see how well it worked and filled it with water right away, placing the clear side facing the sun, on a flat surface. The thermostat registers the heat of the water as it heats in the sun and took about three hours to warm up to 104 degrees.The shower head is better than a different solar shower that I used earlier, and worked well. The bag appears durable as the other shower began to leak from the shower hose after a year of use. I hope this one lasts longer. 5 gallons of water is a little heavy to lift, but once in place and secured so that it doesn't swing, works well, above expectation.In all, it was a good purchase and value for the purpose of showering while camping/off grid.

Seems durable and does provide a nice stream of water. I’d love to see the back side insulated, so shower while the sun is still shining on it. I do wish the hose was a little longer, but that’s only because I am forced to mount it higher than I’d like, so it’s not really to be blamed on the product. I might try adding on an extension

Loved the product. The bag is sturdy and holds a nice amount of water. It seems like they cut the budget at the hose. Mine came extremely kinked enough to cut the water off unless I pinched it open. I may just replace it with something homemade. But over all love it! Strung it up over a tree branch and it worked lovely. It was hot when i used it so I didn’t leave it out in the sun to warm. But I intend too next trip. Will update review then

Great value for the price and it gets hot! Bought this for a solo camping trip and it was perfect! I would fill it with water and leave it in the sun throughout the day and it would be nice and warm when I was ready to use it! The weather was in the 80’s my whole trip and I had no problem with it getting hot. I left it on a chair in direct sun and the temperature gauge got to 101! I also would place it on the hood of my car to help with the temperature. Propped it on top of my Jeep to shower and it worked great! The nozzle has an little lever that allows you to easily open and close it. To dry it out, I detached the hose and nozzle and I simply opened the fill portion and slid the bag onto a branch with the branch going into the bag to keep it open to dry all the way. I love the bag didn’t take up much space once put in its mesh bag! Remember, any item that has held water needs to be dried completely to avoid mold.

I bought this for the beach to use as a shower if I wanted to rinse off before driving home. I was disappointed because the reviews said it worked great. However mine came with the hose folded up which made it kink. The kinks are impossible to get out as the tubing is thick and will continually crease when using the shower. The bag itself is made well but the shower head and hose suck. Another thing is the hose is supposed to slide onto a nozzle but the hose is too small to slide over it and hold. You barely get the hose on it and it slips off constantly when you’re using the shower and you lose water. You need a hose clamp to fix this issue but it doesn’t come with one. The water did heat in the sun and it’s good for rinsing off your feet but I could just do that with a water bottle instead of spending the $20 and then having to go purchase a hose clamp. One other issue is that it’s impossible to hang up anywhere so that you don’t have to crouch. I’m 5ft 2 and had to bend in order to use it even while it was hung up because the hose wouldn’t stop kinking.

I bought this so my husband could wash my hair outside after a surgical procedure. It worked ok for that, even though the whole wash-your-hair-on-a-lawn-recliner was a bit awkward. He left it outside and now uses it to rinse off after swimming. He loves that the water is always warmer than the pool after simply leaving it hang in the sun.

After two camping trips totaling 15 days here is my take...This is a plastic piece of junk. Concept wise, meaning a portable shower system, it is great. But, this particular bag is simply bad. 1) The plastic smell is so strong. Before I used I tried to get rid of it by cleaning with bleach and baking soda. Did not work. Then after using for 2 weeks the smell is still as strong. This can't be healthy. 2) The way the fill port is placed it is 100% impossible to drain all the water. So, it will be filled with the inside when you store it 3) The plastic is ripping in areas that bare weight. Meaning, the handle connected to bag is not secured effectively. Even when I first opened the box and saw the way the handle was secured to the bag I knew this would be a problem, and it was...is. 4) The hose with the shower head is way to short so hand to buy a longer hose for it be at all useful. So, total fail on this product.

Today I'm reviewing the Solar Shower Bag, Portable Shower for Camping Heating Camping Shower Bag 5 Gallons. This product is a great investment if you love camping. This product is also great in emergency situations where you don't have running water available. I give this 5 stars because this really is a must have product.Pros: Easy to carry in it's travel bag, the materials used are thick and well put together, easy to put together and hang while water is warming up, has a temperature strip on the bag which is easy to read.Cons: The tube is a little to short for my comfort but is easily replaced with the length you may prefer.
