Great price & beautiful lights in my entrance hallway.

We put the JMEXSUSS Outdoor Waterproof Christmas String Lights on our tiny off-grid log cabin, and they’ve added such a beautiful, cozy glow! Lights are bright and first impression was that the LEDs appeared molded in that gave me a good feeling about longevity as opposed to others whose leads turn to rust. NOT SO! Also I and many others complained, once switched off, they come back on in some kind of demo mode cycling through all the ugly flashing sequences. Literally the only lights I ever experienced that cannot be used with a timer!!They say they come with a remote: One out of four sets had the remote. The others had a different non-remote transformer so would have to be manually set every night and morning. Poor inventory control? Poor stock picking?Then the first night we had some moderate wind which exposed another weakness that killed it for me...they are so lightweight and flexible, they had blown up over the roof and gutter, so largely invisible (I mean, still clipped in but the icicle strands flipped up and over).This was after hanging three sets, so I left the fourth unopened and scheduled to return. Well, what with inclement weather and my travel schedule I didn't get to take them down for over 3 weeks. That's when I observed many of the LED leads were already rusting badly...easily seen through the clear insulation. From that observation I figure they would be useless for another season. So neither weatherproof or suitable for outdoor use.So glad I discovered this within the return window!

So they do have a remote that you can change the pattern or there is a button on the plug that lets you change the pattern as well and it does have memory so whatever pattern you leave it on when you turn it off then turn it back on. It's on that same pattern. The red is a little bit lighter, then the other lights I had bought, but from a distance you can't really tell also I don't like how wires are not twisted up on the main feed and they're zip tied at every icicle so to speak, it took two boxes to do my house, you only have 36 feet. I think it was of lights and then another 10 feet of wire, for the plug other then that their good lights. I took one star off for the zip ties and wires

Works well and easy to install. Good quality
