Would this product be suitable for a six year old

I think a six year old who has worked with Legos would be fine. My eight year found this easy.

Will any of them fit inside a computer case?

Depends on the case. I have a pretty large case (corsair 540) and I doubt any of them will fit in there.

Does the blaster fire?

Sorry, but I dont' know. I bought this as part of a birthday gift for my grandson who lives out of town. I know he really liked it, and sent me a picture after he put it together. He was very pleased with the gift.
