Bill Nye's Great Big World of Science

Humorous and interesting - hopefully will inspire more kids to be scientists.

Appears to be a great book. Bought for our 10 year old grandson. Graphics are well done.

I bought this book for my grandson who is 12. I read the book and found it boring and condescending. There is little actual information and it is not very “readable”. Not recommended.

So this is NOT a book of experiments to do. I was mistaken and disappointed. It has nothing to do with Bill Nye either. It’s simply a book all about science which we already have and he doesn’t read. It’s far above age 10 reading level too.

With his trademark blend of humor and facts, Bill Nye has produced a thoroughly readable, up-to the-minute exploration of...almost everything! I look forward to sharing many passages with my Elementary level science students.Thanks, Bill!

I bought this as a gift for my grandsons. We love it! Fun times learning about science.

I bought this book for my granddaughter for Christmas. I took a little look and know she will have a lot of fun doing the experiments.

My kids absolutely love this book! They can’t put it down and have nearly gone through it in a week. it’s a favorite of theirs and they’re picking what other projects to try out soon.

If you are a fan of Bill Nye like my family is you will love this book! Even if you are new to Nye and just have an interest in science you will still love this book! I originally bought it for my son but turns out I have been reading it just as much as him. It has loads of information on science topics across the spectrum and is filled with fun facts and pictures illustrating ideas and concepts. It's a must buy for any true science buffs out there or anyone who wants a fun way to introduce their family to a fun way to learn about science.
