Way too wide for Olive Oyls
My 6 year old daughter is very skinny- 45 inches tall and about 34 pounds and needed a wetsuit to stay warm at her swim lessons. I tried 2 sizes of this wetsuit for her. First I ordered a 7/8 based on people saying this wetsuit ran 2 or 3 sizes small knowing she is skinny but also that the length couldn't be too short or the crotch would hurt. Well, the 7/8 was laughably large- 3 inches too long in the crotch and inches too wide in the legs and arms and you could have fit 2 of her bodies in the core of the suit. Then I ordered a 5 hoping all dimensions would shrink considerably. The length of the 5 was right, but the arms and legs and body were still inches too wide. I also tried the Tyr wetsuit and it had similar dimensions to this one. I finally found one that fit her and it was a size 3 Oneill Reactor wetsuit. The Oneill Reactor wetsuit runs much much slimmer than the Tuga and Tyr as an FYI for those with skinny kids. If you have a normal to heavier daughter, I think the Tuga would be a nice suit, though, and it was pretty.

it is easy to take off and put on
The measurments are accurate, I ordered a slightly larger fit.Flexibility and movement:The material must be 1mm neoprene, not too thick, allowing the child to move freely,Fit:It keeps my child warm for the swimming lesson in the pool even though the fit is loose around the legs and under arms. Spandex sleeves are tighter so the under arm loose fit and water flow is attenuated. Collar sits well, not sure if in the water it floats away from the body, probably.I think the suit would do well even for longer periods outside the pool but the loose fit makes it, for now, unfit for extended cold periods in cold lake or sea water.Dressing, comfort:Because the suit is not snug, it is easy to take off and put on, even wet.Front zipper allow for unassisted dressing and undressing.Buoyancy:It must have a little, it's only 1mm or 1.5, not sure. This helps her get the confidence and extends her stamina to tackle the next level. Not enough to cheat her way through the lesson.Enduser opinion:My child loves the suit as she says she is still cold but just a bit, before she was extremely cold. She will grow in this suit and it will be warmer when the water does not flow as freely under her suit.

Excellent
Excellent product and handling service. I bought two of these for my daughters and am very happy with their quality. Fit is great with room to grow. My older daughter is pretty tall for an 8 year old so I got her 12-14 size and my 4 year old is pretty average so size 4 fit her perfectly and both will fit them next year as well.

Great for swimming lessons!
My daughter was nearly 5 when I bought this. She was still wearing mostly 4t but transitioning to a 5. I bought the 4t first but it was too short in the crotch. The 5t fits great and the arms and legs are a bit big but fine. She's an average child, neither small nor big. We love this suit! The only negative is it does tend to ride up in the crotch, even in the larger size. But she says it doesn't hurt. She just tugs it down periodically. She also says it does keep her warmer in the water.

Perfect for My Daughter
My daughter wore this for swimming lessons and recreational swimming all summer. She loves it. we intentionally bought it one size larger than she needed so (hopefully) we could get two years out of it. (She is 8 and growing!) It fit well and we think she will be able to wear it next year, too. No issues with fading or other defects or wear on it. Rather expensive for a child's swimsuit, but you certainly get what you pay for. Definitely recommend!

Works great!
The quality is great and it certainly did the job of keeping my 2 year old warm enough in the pool. In fact, it was the first time she ever stayed happily in the water for more than 15 minutes. Per measurements she should have fit the 3t, but it is laughably big on her in the legs. Torso fits ok. It still worked fine and we've probably got at least 1-2 years of growing space. Very attractive, she was excited to put it on and loves doing the zipper herself.

Very happy with this suit
Very happy with this suit. I ordered up a size for my daughter because I am used to most wet suits running small. She has very sensitive skin and between the sand and salt water a day at the beach usually ended quickly with and unhappy child. This suit provided enough protection that she was able to enjoy a day at the beach.

Quality product
Love love loves this suit for my 1-year-old. It's still big on her but it's great for the beach and what little water she encounters.
