It must run in the family - when we hit the pillow, our minds go into hyperdrive thinking about what we have to do tomorrow, what we did today, what we forgot to do today...over and over again. I bought this product for myself and ended up letting my elementary school aged daughter try it - used to take her over an hour to fall asleep, now only 10-15 minutes! She asks for “the cooling thing” every night when she gets into bed and we take it off once she falls asleep. Highly recommend!

I have used the chili pad for 5 years and swear by it. I came across this head sleep product on their website and figured I try it because my only sleep problem is my over active mind at night that I cannot shut off. I gave this a fair try for a month. I spent 2 weeks just using it for 30 minutes before bed, and another 2 weeks trying it all night. I found so difference in falling asleep. The 2 weeks I left it on all night, my sleep was worse because of this uncomfortable contraption on my head and I woke up with a red mark on my forehead that started getting raw after a few days. My co-workers kept asking why my forehead was red.I was really hoping this would work, and really gave it a fair shot, but it simply did nothing. The first night after sleeping without it for the first time in a month, was the best sleep I had in a month. I would not recommend this, but would still 100% recommend the Chili Pad…it’s a life changing product.

So a mixed review. The switch on my initial unit broke after a few weeks of usage. However, I called Ebb and they immediately sent me a replacement. That was nice. In terms of the product itself, it does cool like it says it will. But I haven't noticed any effect on my ability to fall asleep using it.

After a TON of research into what this does (and does not) do, I definitely feel like this did wonders for me. It's my most useful migraine remedy, given that I can use it when traveling, out of the house, anywhere I don't have a freezer. The fact I can use it all night while it's plugged in is a huge bonus. Finding replacement cords for it was.. difficult. I really wish you could get the case it comes with in pictures since my primary use case is travel. It does not get *very* cold. It can't knock a full migraine out, but can help keep one at bay. I took the foam padding off to help with cooling, since I wanted the chill. Overall, I'm a fan. It's not perfect, but it's a good product and I'm happy I got it.

I suffer from two types of insomnia, and I have sleep apnea. Each night, I take pills to fall asleep, and stay asleep. Still, I awake at 3 a.m. This device had significantly improved my quality sleep, including increased deep sleep. It was recommended by my board-certified sleep and lung doctor. So glad he made the recommendation.

I'm not exactly sure what the FDA approved??? This does nothing to help with sleeping, I'm not sure what the difference is between this and holding an ice pack to your head??? Tried this for three nights in a row and it did nothing.

I typically wear it while lying down for 20 minutes at night on level 2 cold setting, and I have found it to be comfortable and relaxing. I’ve noticed that I am able to fall asleep quickly and without waking multiple times throughout the night!
