These worked for my 2006 Focus... so far.
So I have a 2006 Ford Focus ZX3 (Roommate's car) where the linkage popped apart in 2 places. First I tried fixing it with the cotter pin and drilling a hole and wrapping the cotter pin around the knob, and then poking through a small hole drilled in the arm that pops onto it. I also added a hose clamp around the arm to keep the cotter pin secure. Did that to two of the joints, one closest to the motor, and one on the other end of that same linkage arm. Worked fine for about a week, then failed at the joint further away from the motor. Figured I'd try these clips, supposed to work with this 2006 Focus. There are some clips in Britain, for the Focus/MK1, that have a nut and bolt, and look like they'd be better, but they cost more and would take longer to arrive.I opened up the wiper cavity, and installed one of the clips on the failed joint. I actually put it on sideways on the arm, not over the end of the arm. Used a long thick screwdriver and some mini needle nose pliers to finagle it on, and the hole in the upper part of the clip slips nicely over the plastic knob. Then finagled the other side of the clip over the metal ball part of the joint, and it seems to clip in and hold. Kind of a springy steel, took a few tries and a little luck to get the clip pried open enough to slide over the arm and the ball. Applied some grease, I used Park Poly Lube, best known as a bicycle bearing lube, PPL-1, Then we tested the wipers before reassembling, and they seemed to operate smoothly and the joint looked reasonable secure. We put it back together, and it all seemed to operate nicely. I view this as an interim repair, that whatever lifetime we get from the repair is playing with house money. So if it lasts 6 months, I'll be happy. I did go ahead and buy the whole linkage assembly for the car, found a deal at $40 shipped on eHarbor, I mean Bay, and will pop that in next time the wiper linkage fails. In the meantime, I DO RECOMMEND these clips to solve a separated linkage issue, a cheap and EZ solution, with any luck, months or years of additional life of properly working windshield wipers.

Awesome product!
The ball joint on my windshield wipers got old and loose and wouldn't stay together. I tried to fix it, but couldn't. I tried to order new parts, but the ones that aren't available don't fit properly (I'm looking at you Dorman). This thing clips over the ball joint to hold it together. It works perfectly, goes on it minutes, and it super cheap. I now have fully functional wipers again for a few dollars. Very pleased with the design and price.

I sorta got it on
There were no instructions and very poor internet help to the best way to install this, It half-ash fits my 07 ford focus, but its a tight fit without instructions to help.

Solid clips
Didn't work for my setup , but i can see how these would be very useful if they did . The joint was too big to fit the clip on mine. However for the price this was set at it was Worth the try compared to buying a whole transmission arm for the wiper blade or whole setup. I instead went with a different home method that worked perfectly. These clips are pretty solid and dont break easily so thats a huge plus.

Doesn't work on my Ford cmax hybrid
Seemed like a good option but just too small to work on my car. Was worth a try though.

Worked great on my 08 F550
They worked great on my f550. Parts to replace were weeks out and this saved me several hundred dollars.
