Works fine, but the wires seemed a bit thin. The negative terminal is also very close to the positive terminal which means it is somewhat easy to short-circuit something if you are not careful in how you are connecting the wires together to your intended device.

I bought these almost 2 years ago and just got around to using them. They are very low quality. The witches hat clips on so strong that the probe tip pulls off when removing the hat. The guts move too, which binds up the 10x switch. There are other issues too, but I'll keep this short. These are a clone of the probes siglent uses and they are absolute trash.

So far sooo good. For the price, hard to beat. My OWON HDS242 only came with 1 probe. It's a nice probe, and came with a trimmer with a metal blade. Tried like heck to buy one from OWON, can't. I bought another brand. model, but with the recess around the BNCs, need one with a higher collar, and the other brand/model didn't work (square termination body and lower BNC ring) The AUTOUTLET P2200 looked just like the probe that came with the OWON HDS242. But my SDS242 came with only 1. So pulled the trigger on this set. Very nice. The ground clip onto the probe, is a bit different on the AUTOUTLET P2200, better, its a plastic molding... maybe better. The one on the OWON probe is shrink tubing. Well guess if it breaks easier to slit open the shrink tubing, rather than digging out the molding, but the molding is much thicker , easier to grab to remove. Other than that, it's exactly the same probe, right down the witches hat hook. My only REAL gripe is that the trimmer is not as pictured. The one pictured with the metal tip, if very good and useful. My kit came with the all plastic generic one the cheapest probes are coming with, and totally USELESS........ come on OEMs..... stop penny pinching.. what did the better tweaker cost.... 1cent vs .25cents for the molded garbage that is getting thrown out.????? so better off just not including something that is useless. Bring back the metal bladed tweaker, infact sell 5 for $1 on Amazon... we loss them all the time. You'll make a bundle... They are also good for eyeglasses...

These probes work well, ready to calibrate and have a good soft cable.
