Bought these for my mother as a Christmas gift and they were a hit!! They are very sturdy, sharp, easy to use and cut all the things my mom needs to cut in the kitchen from opening plastic clam shells to cutting through chicken bones.

They are sharp and feel very solid. I love that they pull apart so that I can clean them properly, so great for keeping things sanitary.

These are the kitchen shears you want! For years I had a pair of nearly identical ones that (if I recall correctly) were branded Cuisinart. I loved them! Then one day they went missing--I think they must've accidentally fallen in the trashcan and are gone forever. THESE Wüstof are, so far as I can tell, an exact replica: they are sharp, they come apart easily for easy cleaning, they have the nutcracker feature that I need, and the grips are comfortable. If I lose these again, at least they will be in my Amazon purchase history--until Amazon erases it for no good reason. (Amazon, stop that. Purchases should be forever!)
