It is magnetic but does not ave a great deal of holding power. Works well for light stuff but will not hold tools securly.

Good if you need a roll of magnets
I had a project that required a lot of magnet tape and this product met all my needs. Be aware that there might be a slight curve to some of the strips but if you are able to lay it flat you should be fine.

Not good
Could not use these. They do not stick like others I have used. Would not buy again. It has been awhile since I bought them, maybe they have been improved or I got a bad batch

scrapbookers beware!
i am making a binder to store my spellbinders dies. this looked like a good choice and i had seen women on u tube do this. i ordered this product. it is stiff and thick and would not stay down on the black chip board. i had to put strong two faced tape under it to make it stick. it is so thick that the dies keep falling off. sometimes they fly off. (thank goodness i have a telescoping magnet to get them off the floor) i got some adhesive backed magnetic sheets that work much better for me. i put holes in the chipboard and then the magnetic sheet and line them up and no falling dies. plus it takes up less room. i had not realized just how many of these dies i had collected (i might be addicted lol) maybe a much thinner magnetic strip would work, you could cut the magnetic sheets in strips and use them. good luck.

they work great.
The magnet is a lot stronger than the tape on the other side, but I made screens for my work truck, they work great.

Didn't hold
I had hoped this would hold a lightweight white board on my refrigerator. It didn't seem too heavy but I couldn't get the tape to stick. Disappointed.
