So far so go!
It’s a bit early in the game for a review but Amazon seems to think after using something for a day or 2 it should be reviewed. I bought this product with a bit of skepticism because in my research for one, I read that they are very finicky & troublesome. However, in the 3 days I’ve used it I have found this one to work pretty well so far. The connection is seamless and takes maybe 10 seconds. In fact, I don’t notice it. Everything seems to work without any problems. I do notice a very slight lag time tho when I change songs on ApplePlay. I notice it when I use the steering wheel button. I’ve not tested the screen button tho. It’s no big deal at all. I love that I now don’t have to have a wired connection & can close my console. I like clean lines & don’t like wires showing all over.

NOT Version 2.0
I received an original Carlinkit, not the version 2.0.I've contacted the seller, but no response yet. I'll update this review when I do hear from them. This unit works OK, when it works. It has a tendency to drop connection with the iPhone. When I try to place voice-activated calls, 90% of the time the Carlinkit will just reset itself, and then take the usual ~30 seconds to reboot & reconnect.About half the time I attempt to play music from the iPhone, the Carlinkit won't respond to voice commands. If I select the music manually via the car's touch screen, most of the time it'll work, but sometimes it won't play at all.If it worked consistently, it would be a great accessory, as it is, well, not so much.UPDATE: Seller says this is a version 2.0 of their older style, and it functions the same as their newer style unit.

Work great!
I can't tell you how many cables I bought for my Toyota Camry 2019. They work for awhile and then they stopped working so I tried this Wireless CarPlay Adapter, for $50 (all the ones i saw were over $100), and it works fine. Some time it won't connect at all but all you need to do is unplug it and plug it back and presto!, works again.

Totally works as advertised!
So far so good, works as advertised. Like others have said, some load up time when you first get into your car, but barely noticeable. Using Siri on all apps is the same as wired, zero difference. Installing it is brainless- plug it in, connect it to you Phone BT, done-and-done. Only thing I'm a little concerned about is the "updating" online via your phone doesn't seem very secure, luckily I didn't need to update it right nowHighly recommend!

Meh
When it works, it’s great. When it doesn’t, it’s useless. I’ve had it for just about a month and I would say that it works without intervention about 75% of the time. The rest of the time I need to unplug, replug sometimes many times in order for it to start up again.Today I’ve tried multiple times with no success. Has it stopped working for good after a month? Possibly. My original thought was I’d leave my phone in my purse and it would work. That doesn’t seem to work for me ever though. I still need to remove my phone and keep it “near” the device that’s plugged in. So even the majority of the time that it functions, it does not function as I’d hoped.Unfortunately I’m a few days passed my return window or it would be going back.

So far so good!
Ok so after reading a lot of the reviews and watching some YouTube videos about this product, I decided to get this one since it seems to be the most recommended wireless CarPlay dongle. I had just a teeny tiny bit of issue setting it up but immediately realized what I needed to do to fix it which was basically just go into my Bluetooth and give it a little helping hand. Now it works really well. A couple of things I will mention that happens with it in my car (2022 Nisssan Altima SV) is that what ever order you have your apps on your factory installed CarPlay will need to be redone once you install this dongle. It has its own interface and you have to customize the dongle apps to your liking and then they will stay the way you choose. I can’t see where you can adjust the background like you can with the factory CarPlay so your stuck with what comes with the dongle as far as I can tell. But it looks nice and I have no issue with it. Lastly when I crank my car it doesn’t always come up to the CarPlay screen and sometimes I have to push the CarPlay button on my screen and then it will appear which again is no biggie for me. I have had a few occasions where the Bluetooth didn’t connect with the dongle and had to go into the Bluetooth settings on my phone and manually connect it but that doesn’t happen often. But it does occasionally so that needs to be addressed. Anyway I would recommend this still because I love not having to plug my phone in each time I get in my car. So if I have to adjust a few things occasionally to make it work I’m good with that. Just don’t expect this to work perfectly every single time because as you know things that use Bluetooth can still be finicky at times. Hope this helps! Get the dongle. You won’t be disappointed if you keep these things in mind. And who knows, it may work perfectly with your particular vehicle!

Amazing to be wireless
This dongle does exactly what it says it will. I have a 2017 Honda CRV and this works great. As expected there's an ~10 second delay from when the car turns on to when it connects, it's usually just long enough for me to start backing out of the driveway when my phone will connect and start playing music. All hands-free functions work from the steering column, and I don't notice any significant lag in hands-free or phone calls.

Overheated
Work for 2 weeks, great product but out of nowhere it started to overheat. It started to slow down and prefer using the regular cable.
