Diagram is correct for Ford mirrors
The diagram shows the black wire as the power wire and that is correct for Ford mirrors that I used. Another review said that that was the ground wire but it depends on how your mirrors are wired. This is DC voltage so if your mirrors go up when they should go down you can swap the ground and power wire and they will reverse direction.

Great option for Subaru too!
The cut out on my 2014 WRX did not fit this one quite right, but with some sanding and filing i think it would. Otherwise it is a perfect match. If you are doing the JDM power fold mirror swap on your 2011-2014 WRX this switch would be a good alternative so the likely very used JDM version you would buy on ebay with the power fold mirrors. Once I finished all the wiring and confirmed my mirrors folded and worked as before with the older JDM switch I had, I plugged this switch in to confirm the pin outs matched, and they did! I may end up buying another switch trim off ebay to see if i can get this switch to fit since it is new and still has all the decals on each button. This switch is a Toyota "clone" that likely works in several other Subaru models of a similar vintage (2008+) and several Toyotas which have power folding mirrors. Another bonus is the wiring pigtail. This came in very handy when I needed to add a few wires to my existing harness.

Wires need identified
The wires have no diagram to identify what each wire does.No diagram or identification makes it hard to wire anything.

good as cheesy car electrics go.
does work. have yet to see how long it lasts. my guess is with all the mirror switches out there, these are common to die.
