Osprey Daylite Duffel Backpack - Convertible Everyday Duffel Bag for Gym, Commute, and Travel

Good balance of backpack&duffel. Suitable for air travel. 60L is a good size, big enough to hold multiple days clothes, but not so large that it's hard to wear or maneuver while wearing. For my height ("average" American male), I would not go smaller than 50L or larger than 70L. It's small enough to pack into a larger suitcase if you're not sure how much capacity you'll need on the way back. Very well made, no dangling bits, heavy material, and multiple handles. The straps are not the most padded and there's no sternum or waist strap (it's not an actual backpack) but perfectly adequate to wear as a backpack for making connections & transits. Mine went through multiple international airports as checked baggage and shows no sign of wear. Other Thoughts: Make sure you load it correctly if you plan to wear it-- extra weight on what suddenly becomes the "top" is very awkward. The airlines I used put the duffel in a luggage bin both for checking and for baggage claim. The small side pockets (curiously only on 2 sides, instead of 3) are handy. Quibbles: shoulder straps should be a little more padded. A loop to allow hanging this off a large suitcase would be helpful for air travelers. Overall, the best of 3 similar bags I looked at. And I've been very happy with the longevity of my other Osprey backpacks. Recommended.

Simple easy to pack roomie. Looks great backpack straps or duffel bag. Use it for the gym or throw it in your car for an overnighter at your girlfriend’s house or a weekend getaway. It holds plenty of stuff just enough pockets to separate small items from clothes.

We had have this a couple months now. We absolutely love it! We travel a lot so we get a lot of use out of it. It’s dependable, comfortable and excellent quality!

A great weekend bag. I'm petite and it's very easy to carry and you can carry it many ways, which allows for some flexibility. It's enough to fit lots of clothes and other stuff like my laptop and hair appliances. Very study as well. My puppy peed on it and it was still very easy to clean and wash lol

Nice material and overall quality is top notch. Back pack straps are the duffle.bag straps so that is a little odd. I guess that's a positive as you dont have tp.change out straps but also a negative as the straps are odd as day to day duffle bag use. Bag has nice pockets and segmentation.

I’ve been using this bag for almost a year now, mostly for trips lasting 3-4 days. In my 30L bag, I am able to pack 4 days’ worth of clothing, a full, medium size toiletry bag, a small hairdryer, my flatiron, slippers, an extra pair of shoes, and a large water bottle. The extra side pocket has been great for things like documents, hair barrettes, keys, or any other small items I need to squirrel away quickly. It’s comfortable to carry or wear as a backpack, and it has held up well so far. I also like the zipper pulls - very helpful. This was my first osprey purchase, but I’ve since purchased a shoulder bag to use as my everyday bag, and I just purchased the 45L version of this bag to take on a 9 day vacation this summer. Even better, both the 30L and the 45L seem to meet most airlines’ carry-on size requirements . Osprey makes a great product, and I highly recommend.

Great smaller duffle. Collapses and folds up quite nicely. As with most osprey bags, this is top quality and very durable. This is the perfect bag to fold up and stash in another bag just in case your bags are too heavy at the airport and you need to shift things around, or pickup more stuff on the return trip.

Took it to a trip to Japan .very good quality...a lot of space...and very sturdy
