I just bought a new Tig welder and I needed something to practice on. This cube project is fantastic. The metal is good quality and has very low impurities (easy to clean and weld). The metal is thick, which makes it easy to weld. And it looks really cool. Great gift for welders!!

Item was good for practicing and kind of cool keepsake as your first welded object but definitely on the pricey side in my opinion for six pieces of flat stock

I’m teaching my son how to weld and it’s a really nice kit to learn on. Good quality metal and easy to Weld.

I got my AlphaTIG several years ago but never used it. Purchased this product 2 weeks ago and used it as soon as I received it. Last time I TIG welded something was in 2005, so I am very rusty.It is a bit pricey for what you get. But if you're lazy to cut out your own "coupons" then this is the product for you.I also purchased the aluminum version to work on at a later date.

These are accurately described, but I was somehow surprised how small they were when they arrived. This is a fun little project to practice with welding, but why not make your own and get some practice with an angle grinder cutting wheel making your own weldable squares for cheaper out of a piece of 2" flat bar from the big box store. If you only care about welding and prefer not to cut your own, this is a good option.

good practice would buy more but they are pricey. I would buy again for sure
