AMAZING!!!! WOW!!!!
I have long, thick frizzy coarse hair and so does my daughter. If I let my hair air dry, it starts to poof out and get frizzy. I hate using flat irons because it takes me forever to use it and my patience grows short. I also hate the flat iron because I get kinks in my hair from letting it sit in one spot too long or I get my hair tangled In the closing area of the iron. For years all done is blow dry and use the round brush, which takes at lest a hour. I got this today and was so excited after seeing it on a major TV talk show as a must have for spring. My hair was already done for the day but not flat ironed. I used this at the 450 degree setting and I n 5 mins my hair was shiny, smooth and felt like half the thickness was gone! It's amazing! So I used this in my daughters hair after school and the pictures are worth a thousand words! It only took 12 minutes to do her hair!! Apparently this is the only patented product on the market. I used a round brush in my ends because I like my hair to have some curl to it! Thank you for making a product I can use easily! Also, people complained about the side buttons but once you set a temp you desire, you can lock that temp in place!

This product burned off my hair!
Let me start by saying that I am VERY handy with my hair. I have colored it myself (and other people's), used flat irons when they first came out years ago and crimpers, I blow it dry and have never ever had an issue, even with the old school flat irons. I am one of those people that can style it myself and people ask if I got it done, so I am not a novice at knowing how to make my hair look good and taking care of it. I have medium-thick hair with waves that must be blown out (or straightened with a product like this) to look completely straight. I saw this product advertised on a major TV show and was excited to maybe be able to do it myself, instead of having it blown out professionally as I don't have a lot of time to do it myself, and the salons blow it out faster. I also read the reviews and most people really liked it so I gave it a try.I read the directions and started using it and it was very easy to use, yet my hair was not as straight as I wanted it to be so I didn't like how it came out. It wasn't smooth enough and didn't look as good as in the salons or as I had hoped. It could have been that my hair was more wavy than usual that day and thicker because it was a few days since i washed it, so I decided l would wait until I washed it the next time and when it dried, try it again. Meanwhile, I noticed after I finished this first and only time, that there were some small clumps of hair in the brush but chalked it up to being that it was a few days since I brushed it (I don't need to brush my hair when it is wavy), as that happens when you wait to brush your hair and then more comes out than if you did it every day.Well when I washed it the next day (because I didn't like how it came out straightened as I said), and took the towel off my head to comb it after the shower, I noticed two sections of coarse, dry hair right near my forehead that were now short! I kept touching them to see if I was imagining this and nope, I was right. It burned off my hair!!!! I was very lucky that those were the only sections that got ruined and that I can still make my hair look normal, but I am so upset that this happened as you can imagine. I don't know why it only burned those two sections as I used the same heat on all areas. That area of hair is not any finer than the other sections.Anyway, I am not a fan.

She said this one performs the same but is better because of the digital readout and temperature control
Bought this for my wife. She has something Similar that cost over $200. She said this one performs the same but is better because of the digital readout and temperature control. The only mark against it is the temp control buttons. It is easy to press while holding the brush. You have to be aware and now she doesn't press it as much. If she just chemically straightened her hair then this is perfect for a quick brush. But after a few months after treatment it will not replace a straight iron. It still does a decent job, just not straight iron good. She uses it before she goes to bed and it doesn't take so long in the morning when she straight irons. My wife is Japanese and has thick hair.

Stick with your flat iron.
Didn't work well for me. Flat iron leaving your hair looking much smoother.

Best straightener ever
I've used everything there is to straighten my curly hair over the years. This is by far the easiest and most effective product I've tried. I have 3B curls and this runs through them smoothly. I love that I can control the heat setting. So if I want to just smooth my hair to waves, I can use a lower temp. But it can get my hair pin straight, which is difficult to do.

Just ok...
The bristles do not grab my thin hair very well, so it makes it hard to use, and you definitely need to use a glove with it. I've gotten burned a couple of times.

I am only giving this one star because it doesn;t allow me to give -0- It does by no means replace a straightener and when I went to try to return it was not allowed. I would not recommend this to anyone who usually uses a straightener or has somewhat thin hair. It just doesn't allow you the necessary compression or taming that you get froma straighten and am very disappointed that the product can not be returned...It seem to fit the old standard of "slam a customer and , oh well, you bought it". VERY DISPLEASED!!!
