I redid the bed in my camper which made the plywood access to the under bed storage a little larger. The 100-lb that we had were not strong enough to hold the bed up. They installed quickly and easily I used the brackets that were original to the camper. They lift the queen size bed easily and hold it in place and it goes down just as easily although at the end you do have to help it from keep it from slamming down. They open really really well very little effort is needed and they fit exactly where the 100 pounders did. For this application these work extremely well

These struts came as described. They also came with installation instruction, and what size and weights you need for your project.

So far everything is great. My doors don’t sound like a broken machine that’s about to explode when I open them with the new struts. Recommended.

I bought these for a client- Good price and well made product, but I had to return mine. I needed a heavier built product for my application, as a hot tub cover prop strut. To handle the potential resistance to wind, while in the up position.

The instruction paperwork for these struts notes up to only 110 lbs. I ordered the C1608055 19.7 inch 120lb struts. So I can only hope this will not make a significant difference. I am satisfied because these resolved the issue of replacement for my F-150 tonneau cover, which struts had completely failed. Extremely easy installation (with YouTube guidance). I'd like to believe these will last just as long as the originals. We'll see.

Product came without all the parts that are shown in description. It was missing the nylon ball sockets. Useless without the parts and no response from vendor Run far away from this product.
