Red Poinsettia Skirt by Christmas Décor

This is actually beautiful and very easy to put together, however do not let that picture fool you. It is not red it is more like a burgundy.Very pretty though!!!

Very simple to put together. Also very beautiful and light.

I got this tree skirt hoping to match my rose gold garland .. it sort of did. (I ordered gold)From one angle it was a greenish gold color and from the other direction a copper rosey color. Very pretty overall, but it made my garland look pink, like very pink because of its green cast.It was easy to assemble, certainly not rocket surgery. It came with instructions, not that they were needed.The hook and loop fasteners certainly could stand to be larger to make things easier and more secure, but it worked out fine.I put this under a noble fir.. I ended up with a huge mess and I'm pretty sure there's no saving this tree skirt for next year. Totally covered in sap and I don't think there's any way to wash it out.Unless you're prepared for it to be a $25 disposable, I'd advise only putting it under a fake tree. Not to mention the coverage area is minimal, so my carpet is also drenched in sap.Given its small area, I think it would look best under a tree with a relatively narrow base, or a tree with very low branches and you can move the petals outward.It's somewhat cheaply made, but it is pretty. I really like the sequins.I wish I hadn't ruined mine because it cost as much as my Christmas tree.Overall I would recommend this product, I feel it's worth $20 or less. It is a unique look for making your tree extra zazzy.

Love this tree skirt.

I really love this trees kirt, however it did need very slight adjustments to be perfect which is why I only gave it 4/5 stars.Like the other reviews point out, there are no instructions on assembling the petals of the skirt, however it's pretty intuitive if you look at a picture of the overlapping petals and see how some petals have Velcro on the top and some on the bottom. The actual construction of the materials is very nice and thick. There is the issue of too much movement from the petals. Having two kittens, there was a lot of pulling the petals off and finding them scattered around the tree. However, by simply attaching the petals with some silver safety pins on the underside of the skirt (so you don't actually see the safety pins), it works just perfectly. I did leave two of the petals without a safety pin in between so I could easily attach and un-attach under the tree with only the Velcro. For more security, you could put safety pins further down the length of the petals as well but I didn't feel the need.It's a bit disappointing that it's not perfect as is, but this is a beautiful tree skirt and I was perfectly willing to put in a tiny bit of effort to make it perfect.

After reading some of the reviews, I was expecting to be disappointed. I bought the silver tree skirt. The somewhat reflective fabric is more gray than silver, but with the shimmering sequins and the lights reflecting from the tree, silver is a better description of the color. I'm looking forward to many years of satisfaction with this purchase. The picture shown is very accurate.Tree skirt was very easy to put together. Eight poinsettia leaves come in the package: 4 top leaves and 4 bottom leaves. The top leaves have velcro on upper corners underneath the leaves which attach to the velcro on the bottom leaves (located on top of the individual leaves). The leaves alternate top/bottom all the way around the tree. This may not make sense to the reader, but it is very obvious when you are putting it together. Took me less than 5 minutes. There were a few minor wrinkles from shipping, but they disappeared by the next morning. My tree is artificial and trunk is about 1.5 inches in diameter. This skirt, fully assembled, will easily accommodate a 3 inch trunk.

Bought this last-minute before our Christmas Eve family gathering, after realizing we'd tossed our previous tree skirt.These are made with polyester, so they're not super high quality and attract pet hair like crazy. That said, the velvet finish is easy to keep clean, and the underside is a non-woven material that is also easy to clean up with a pet hair removal brush.We have two cats who LOVE playing under the tree, so I pulled off all the velcro pieces and replaced them with magnetic snaps. It's much more secure without really detracting from the nice appearance of the skirt.I like that it comes apart - makes for easy cleaning and storage! I'm docking one star because the velcro that was used is very poor quality and doesn't keep the pieces attached very well.
