Q: Do the lids fit tightly?

Dear M, I purchased 2 of the vintage Chinese fortune sticks. I gave one as a present and I kept one.They appeared to be handmade. So the lid fits somewhat tightly but not securely.

Q: So I read there are only 60 (sixty) sticks in this set? Are they used for the Kuan Yin Oracle, I-Ching, or a different kind of communication? Just curious because 60 is too many for traditional I-Ching, 4 less than the hexagram, and 40 shy of Kuan Yin's 100 poems...

64 is the correct number of sticks for i-ching. Go to Chinatown.
