The breeder trained my Shih Tzu puppy to drink from a water bottle like this before I got her. She has 2 of these now - one upstairs and one downstairs. She always knows where to go for a drink. It is easy to refill and reposition back on the stand.

Can't blame the manufacturer you have a stupid puppy!Haven't bought yet but I'll give a real review when I get it.
