Great thermometer. I had a different ear thermometer that drove me nuts, it was a talking one and would make so much noises and beeping sounds, whenever I would check temperatures it would beep and wake my baby up. I love this one cause it's quiet and easy to use! It's small in size so it fits very well in emergency/medical supply kit. It also is accurate with readings, I had a hard time with other thermometers cause they were always off in readings and my kids would never keep the mouth one in so tried out so many different kinds. This one is a keeper, gives you good and accurate readings every time. Very easy to get an ear reading and very fast. It seems very durable and well made. Also screen lights up, which comes in handy for night time readings. You can also preview previously recorded readings. Overall great product

I am very happy with this purchase because it fits the bill on what I was looking for in a thermometer.- it is simple to use, fast, and accurate.This ear thermometer makes taking one's temperature an easy process, not having to wait a long time for the reading or looking for the sleeves that go over the probe. You just insert the probe lightly in your ear and in a second you have an accurate reading. A plus is that it comes with a carrying case and keeps the previous readings for reference. At this price it is definately the way to go.

Having two small children that always seem to be sick, I have been searching for the perfect thermometer. I've tried the old-fashioned kind, in ear kind, the temporal kind, the strip kind, etc. Each kind had its own pros and cons. The main con that I would struggle with is that each type took too long for my wiggling toddler. This thermometer is the quickest one I have ever seen. So, if you have a wiggling child, this is the thermometer for you!

I got this today and have already tested it on my 20 month old. Not only did I get an accurate read, but she sat still while it went quickly to work reading. When I used my forehead thermometer I had she would always fight me and I wouldn't get a full read. Even with a dog or ear infection she happily sat through the less than 10 second hold. I am beyond thrilled. As well as it comes with a case so I can tote it with me in my diaper bag. I would definitely buy this as a gift for my friends and family.

Junk. Doesn't take a consistent reading. Works fast, simple idea, and pain-free for a squirmy toddler, but the readings I get are wildly inaccurate. Really disappointed I can't trust what the readout says. I guess you get what you pay for.

I "think" this thermometer works however, you have to really stick it hard in your ear. I have only tried it on myself. I don't think my kids would "allow" me to use it on them. Kind of disappointing.

Not sick but checking accuracy with standard walmart under the tongue themometer. Tongue says 96.7 and this earlier one gives 2 readings. Left ear say 98.9 and right ear says 97.2 and each time I recheck it varies a tenth of degree while the cheap one continues to read 96.7.??? Not accurate enough or consistent enough for my kid!! Nope I'll be returning this product asap.

Got tired of sticking the old style thermometers under my tongue. Ear therm works ASAP in ear w/o the hassle if gagging on oral therm when you are sick.
