A much needed replacement for my original laptop battery which had been badly damaged.

Works well so far on an HP Laptop 17z-ca300 from 2021. These laptops are not easy to open up, but the little plastic pry tool included with this battery is a huge help. Also a nice surprise that the included screwdrivers are good quality and great size for computers and other small electronics. You can't have too many of those, and I'm sure I'll be using them for various projects for years to come. The battery itself is not a 100% perfect fit, but once it's screwed into place, it seems to make good enough contact to do its job. Can't speak to the longevity of it yet, but it seems you just have to replace laptop batteries every few years.

Came in quickly. Easy to install. Came 60% charged. I am cycling it now (charging/discharging) and seems to do pretty well (full brightness screen kept on all the time, but no apps running other than background system programs, seems to last a good 6-7 hrs. Hope this helps.

Battery package came in early, included several mini screwdrivers(T5,T6,1.5+,1.5-), a pry pick, and a manual that informs you how to charge the battery for the first time. It’s my first battery replacement and installation, I searched a video on how to remove the bottom cover of my laptop as I was having difficult removing it. Come to find there were screws behind the rubber foot strips. Other than that I’m happy with how easily the battery fits. The battery life TBD as I just installed it.

Appreciated that the order came with the blue prying tool. Separating the cover was the most nerve wrecking part of the process and that tool was essential. Other than that, the installation went fine. The battery life so far is back to where it was when the laptop was new.

The battery I ordered for my laptop arrived as advertised and with help from a YouTube video I replaced the dead battery in my laptop myself.I saved 80$ and learned something new at the same time. IT WORKS GREAT!!
