Leucine/BCAAs - The biggest tie-in to this exciting new supplement category has been the extensive research into the anabolic potential of Leucine, one of the 3 BCAAs. Specifically, Leucine is directly involved in the stimulation of protein synthesis – or, as many have referred to it, the process of muscle growth. How does Leucine go about this? Leucine “turns on” a key complex in the muscle-growth pathway known as mTOR. mTOR increases protein synthesis by way of two different methods of action . In simple terms, it increases the body's ability to create new muscle faster and it also increases the amount of muscle growth that can occur within a given time frame. The important point to remember about Leucine is that it works best when it has the other two BCAAs supporting its anabolic efforts. This means that, to get the most out of an intra-workout product – and a recovery product as well, as the BCAAs are ideal as part of a post-workout program – you would want the BCAAs in the most effective ratio possible. INTRALOAD steps up with an amazing 12:1:1BCAA ratio in a 10 gram BCAA complex – gram for gram the strongest on the market and the highest concentration of Leucine available - period. EAA Matirx – Consisting of the essential amino acids L-Threonine, L-Lysine, L-Phenylalanine, L-Histidine, L-Methionine, 5-Hydroxytryptophan. These are critical to the process of muscle growth and recovery – if you are lacking any single amino, you risk derailing the entire process of building new muscle – your intense training and well-planned eating means nothing if you can’t take full advantage of the needed protein to stimulate new muscle growth. The key point as far as the EAAs is that, your body can’t make them, they must come from your diet and supplements. L-Glutamine – The most abundant amino acid, along with the BCAAs, in muscle tissue..

My best kept secret revealed to my Amazon Family! Read my review for a complete product breakdown!
What’s up my Amazon Health & Fitness Family, it’s me your boy HardbodybyAnthony. For those of you who have not read or seen any of my reviews, I am Certified Master Trainer for over 20 years & I have many certifications, one of which is a certification in Supplementation & Basic Nutrition, so because of my years of knowledge and dedication in helping people achieve healthier lives through exercise & nutrition, is the reason why I do these reviews... in hopes I can help someone, even if that is just one.• I wanted to share with everyone this INTRALOAD (Tropical Fruit Punch) by Alpha Pro Nutrition . I use this on all my training days & buy repeatedly. This Product is for those SERIOUS in their training and is the absolute most stacked of its kind.So are you thinking about taking this intra-workout product & want to know if this is a product for you or even if this is effective? Well I am going to break down this badboy to try & help you make that decision.*************** Ingredient Breakdown: ***************• Sodium & Potassium I will list together because they work/go together like Batman & Robin, White on Rice. They are the two primary electrolytes in your body, working together to maintain fluid balance in cells, blood plasma and extracellular fluid. Potassium is found primarily inside cells, and sodium is the main electrolyte in extracellular fluid. & the Chloride functions as an electrolyte but also combines with hydrogen in the stomach to make hydrochloric acid, a powerful digestive enzyme that is responsible for the break down of proteins, absorption of other metallic minerals, and activation of intrinsic factor, which in turn absorbs vitamin B12.——> BCAA 12:1:11) L-Leucine is the strongest of the BCAA’s, & it is responsible for the regulation of blood-sugar levels, the growth & repair of tissues in skin, bones and of course skeletal muscle. A good ratio in BCAA is 2:1:1 & would have Leucine on the high end of that 2:1:1, as you can see this is on the high end of 12:1:1 ratio, making this dosed at 8570g, which is a phenomenal amount.2) L-Isoleucine Is very similar to leucine in just about every way. Isoleucine promotes muscle recovery, regulates the blood-sugar levels and stimulates HGH release. But isoleucine holds its own in wound recovery. This is dosed at 715g.3) L-Valine helps the repair and growth of muscle tissue, as commonly attributed to BCAA's. It maintains the nitrogen balance and preserves the use of glucose. This is dosed at 715g.• BCAA’s suggested effective dose is a total of 5 grams and 2:1:1 ratio. This is massively dosed at 10,000mg & a 12:1:1 ratio and no product on the market has this amount in one scoop!!!*************** Essential Amino Acid Blend: ***************• L-Threonine, L-Lysine, L-Phenylalanine, L-Histidine, L-Methionine all are essential amino acids, meaning it's an essential building block for proteins & necessary for human health, but the human body can't manufacture it and must get it from food or supplements. Dosed at 1400mg and very few supplements outside maybe your protein has this in it!******************** Amino Acid Blend: ********************1) Di-Citrulline Malate (One of if not my favorite ingredient) combines two parts L-citrulline, a non-essential amino acid active in the urea cycle with one part DL-malic acid, a racemic mixture of dicarboxylic acids which help to support energy production. L-citrulline is a central part of the urea cycle, which allows the body to dispose of excess nitrogen. whereas L-citrulline DL-malate produces cellular energy in the form of ATP. L-malic acid is naturally present in the body’s cells, and is involved in gluconeogenesis, the metabolic pathway that creates glucose for the brain. L-malic acid supplements help support energy production. Athletes and bodybuilders interested in physical performance may want to consider L-citrulline DL-malate supplementation. Suggested minimum effective dosage is 3g (3000mg). Perfectly dosed2) L-Glutamine is the most common amino acid found in your muscles. During intense training, Glutamine levels are greatly depleted in your body, which decreases strength, stamina and recovery. It could take up to 6 days for Glutamine levels to return to normal, and Glutamine plays a key role in protein synthesis. Glutamine prevents your muscle from being catabolized (eaten up) in order to provide Glutamine for other cells in the body. It helps maintain cell volume and hydration, speeding up recovery. Benefits you by replenishing declining Glutamine levels during intense workouts. It is believed to help increase nitrogen levels within the body and muscle cells in order to help further protein synthesis. Research shown L-Glutamine can help you produce growth hormone levels. t also may serve to boost your immune system. For bodybuilders, this is important since heavy workouts tend to greatly deplete Glutamine levels. (Glutamine is a primary energy source for your immune system). I bet you didn’t know that Glutamine is one of the most important nutrients for your intestines. It has the ability to 'repair a leaky gut' by maintaining the structural integrity of the bowels. Suggested effective pre-workout dose is 5g is a little under-dosed BUT this is a product to get the added benefits.3) Taurine is often found in energy drinks that gets you going. But let dig deeper. Taurine plays a role in achieving & maintaining a healthy body composition, but in this case, It performs as a cell volumizer, drawing water into the muscles and leading to greater nutrient absorption. As the muscles become more hydrated, this also helps to prevent protein break down and enhances natural protein synthesis. As electrolyte transport increases, another positive effect is the delayed onset of any possible muscle cramping that would ordinarily occur during endurance training. The suggested effective dosage is 1000-2000mg per day and this is reasonable dosed at 1g (1000mg).4) L-Alanine is an amino acid, alanine is used by the body as a building block of protein. Alanine plays a major role in transferring nitrogen from tissue sites in the body, to the liver. Alanine is also used by the body to draw upon blood sugar as an energy source.5) L-Glycine has many benefits i.e, Blood Sugar Regulation, Muscle Growth, Anti-aging Properties, Hormone Regulation. L-Glycine is able to improve cognition; however, it does so primarily by improving sleep quality and reducing fatigue. When it's time for bed, it will help you fall asleep faster & you will experience less daytime drowsiness the next day & improvements in memory on cognitive tests. Overall, this give improvements in fatigue, drowsiness, and vigilance.• This Amino Acid Blend is a total of 8600mg! WOW!****************************** PROS: ******************************• EVERY SINGLE ingredient in this is listed separately along with all the dosages! If you read any of my supplement reviews, you know I ABSOLUTELY HATE PROPRIETARY BLENDS!!! Drives me nuts when supplement companies put “proprietary blend” and list their ingredients & the total dosage. I want to know as well as you should want to know exactly what the dosage are for each and every single thing I am putting in my body & consumers today are getting wiser, more health conscious, so they do too!! Companies who have proprietary blend are shady & more than likely, cutting cost. Clearly a top notch company• I am a huge fan of this ratio with L-Leucine being the absolute most abundant.• No sugar added, uses Sucralose & Acesulfame. I would like to see them stop using sweeteners & start using Stevia, but definitely rather Sucralose & Acesulfame over sugar cane/sugar.• Has electrolytes added which is always good for recovery• Good, not great Mixability. Why? L-Leucine especially in large doses foams up/ cloudy, which is evidence of it being loaded. If a product that has large amounts does not, its not legit!• Tropical Fruit Punch & Blue Raspberry both taste good, but I prefer Tropical Fruit Punch.• No Allergens• Ingredients are adequately dosed• Massive amount of Leucine• Made right here in the good old USA for those who want, like & try to support this great country.****************************** CONS: ******************************• FD&C Red #40 added and is unnecessary. Not good for the body & these supplement companies need to get ahead of the curve & stop adding junk like this.• $40.39 is a bit high. I only listed this because it was a few dollars cheaper, but not a deal breaker because of how massive this product is.• The do not list the ratio of the Di-Citrulline Malate added & in many cases that means they are on the low 1:1******************** My Final Assessment: ********************• This is 675g jug, 30 servings, 1 scoop per serving and each scoop is a whopping 22.5g per scoop which is bananas! Flavor choices are Tropical Fruit Punch & Blue Raspberry. IMO both tastes very good & mixes very well. Always well within the expiration date.Well, there you go my Amazon health & fitness family, one of my top products.
