Worth every penny.
I need to wear suits all too regularly, and tI cannot imagine a better way of getting them the 10 miles to and from work with a minimum of fuss. A few observations. If you read the comments you'll notice that they tell you the bag is directional, but reflective strips are not included on the waxed canvas version I bought. It took a little experimenting to a figure out how to get these on. Second, I'm using a Topeak Super Tourist Rack, and it's a little wide; it takes an extra minute or so to get the clips to grab the lower bars. I also had to invert the lower vario clip to get it to grab them. Finally, while it's certainly improved my commute, by allowing me to make the trek by bike more often, it's also gives you the ability to haul a pretty hefty load. Loaded with a suit, a Kryptonite Lock, a laptop, and a leather portfolio - it's a heavy load and it can make the bike a bit unbalanced. I haven't yet experienced a full-on down-pour - knock on wood - so I don't know how weatherproof the waxed canvas is by itself or with the included rain cover. If I had make a couple of suggestions: I wish there was a different place to fix the tail light to. The little strap on the top compartment (when installed on the bike) doesn't really hold my taillight that uses a rubber band, and the back of the bag obscures it a bit. The bag is also wide enough that if I fix the tail light to the rack, the tail light can only be seen from behind. Second... I'd love some sort of reflective material on the back. Third... there are two little pockets inside, that I stuff my toiletries into, and it's just barely big enough.

Evolutionary leap from the last version
I've had the previous green "Southwest" version for a couple of years, and just received the updated black "Executive" pannier. There is no doubt this bag takes an evolutionary leap forward, without losing any of what I loved about the original. My subway line in NYC has taken the step from unpleasant to downright unbearable over the last couple of years, and I started bike commuting the majority of the time this spring. Unfortunately, my workplace is pretty formal, with a requirement to wear a shirt and tie, so I need a bag that can transport my clothes 7-8 miles in an unwrinkled state, in any weather. I’ve also used the previous bag for some longer 100mile trips where I wanted to have some presentable clothes at the end of it.First impressions were that this new bag was a little different animal from the previous bag. The previous bag was sturdy but I would categorize it as “consumer” grade, and mine was showing signs of wear and tear. They advertise the “Executive” bag as being constructed from "military grade" waxed canvas, and I can attest that this appears to be the case. The canvas and stitching seems on par with my sea bag from boot camp many years ago which has survived years of abuse, and this one looks like it will as well. This bag has the same external pockets as the original but added some additional internal pockets which I immediately put to use for undershirts, socks, belts etc... They also switched the attachment system from a fiddly hook and strap system to a svelte Rixen & Kaul Vario mounting system. I haven’t had a chance to dial it in yet, but it is already much quicker and I think it will be one of my favorite upgrades. They also upgrade the strap to a padded version. Probably some other stuff too, which perhaps I will comment on once I have had more time with the bag.I did my inaugural commute this morning in an unrelenting downpour. It gave this bag a chance to shine in an area where the previous version had shown itself weak. Firstly, I think any bike commuter sharing lanes with cars will appreciate the rain cover. It is big, it is Fluo Yellow, and it is completely waterproof. It also clips nicely to the bag so that it doesn't have to be carried or thrown in a pocket with other gear. It was a little fiddly to attach and detach, but it feels like the sort of thing that will become second nature after a few tries. Most importantly my work clothes arrived dry and unwrinkled. That’s it for now. Love the new bag so far. Immense upgrade on the previous version, which I also loved, but which was showing signs of age. Based on the build quality I am confident I will get even more use out of this one than the original. More to come as I get a little more hands on time with the bag.

and getting the bag on/off with the clip system is very natural / easy after a couple of trips
Very well made and thought out item - zips / fabric all look very durable, and getting the bag on/off with the clip system is very natural / easy after a couple of trips. The garment packing system itself works well for trousers, but unless you are less than 70kgs with very narrow shoulders, I suspect you will have more luck getting your shirt to work uncreased if you roll it up carefully in a normal pannier. Personally I would have also preferred larger side pockets / compartments for my use (though for crowded city commutes, I can see the more slimline profile of the smaller side pockets being important).
