Rod is very sturdy and easy to install. I am using as a curtain rod for an outdoor gazebo. Very nice way to not have to screw and makes holes in the gazebo aluminum. No issues so far.

Works exactly as described. No bowing or movement even when the wind makes the curtains blow. I’ve got 3 heavy canvas 93” curtains on this rod. The little rubber suction pads on each end work great and the ends are nice and big to spread the pressure to reduce dents or indentations. I put cut up pool noodle pieces between grommets to keep the curtains from sliding as there a slight pitch. I’ll be purchasing at least 2 more for my patio now that I know they work well.

Great using outdoors for curtains in the patio very sturdy would recommend I purchased 4 of them would buy again if needed them, adjust to many sized and tension for placing in area where not accessible to screw in a pole

So far I've only tested this rod a little bit, and it seems like it's sturdy enough and will do the trick. I got the longest one around 160 inches, and this was like 1 of 2 that i found on the internet long enough for my needs. So, for not exactly being a true tension rod (since it uses the adjustable button functionality although there is also a spring) and the fact that it's cheap plastic, it actually functions about as I expected so I'm happy with it. It seems to droop a bit in the middle, so I may prop it up somehow, but i also didn't spend enough time installing it to see if i can fix that by adjusting it a few more times. It definitely doesn't seem like it'll fall down, it's just a slight droop which is fine for the price.

Product description states that it can be used for both windows and showers, however the actual product should not be used on anything other than tile in a bathroom. The rubber stoppers will ruin any paintjob and the rod even scraped the drywall.This rod was also not easy to install or use as none of the bars or rubber feet would stay attached as described in the provided instruction sheet. Based on other reviews this might mean I received a defective product rather than this being a consistent issue.This rod is not at all sturdy either. The product listing on Amazon claims the rod can support a maximum load 66 pounds, however at 105" the rod would collapse when trying to support over 5 pounds (total load of 5.2 pounds = 4 curtains x 1.3 pounds each.This product may be useful as a shower rod as the actual packaging claims, however it is not fit to do anything but.

Bad design, broke the first day trying to get it to the desired length. Cannot get the extra third piece I ended up not needing to come off. Otherwise the materials it’s made of seem sturdy and otherwise quality metal, but the rest is just bad design or something because it just wouldn’t come back apart when I had to readjust it since it was too big for the space and had to take the third price off. So I’d say this is hard to install and you’d better know how long you want it to be or your stuck with junk that won’t come back apart to readjust. Too much a hassle to return but letting anyone else know who may want to buy this to buy a different brand.

I used the rod with regular curtains as a room divider. Works perfect! Super sturdy!

This rod is great! It is much sturdier and better built that I expected. It doesn't just rely on scrunching a spring for fit; it has three separate pieces and holes and button for setting length before tightening. I'm using it to hang a cross-curtain in my rv, between truck cab and cabin. It's perfect. Highly recommend!
