Essential A-level maths book for Edexcel
This book is a must have for the A-level mathematics course in the second year.It provides a great breakdown of every chapter on the year 2 syllabus for Edexcel. There are practice questions after every section in a chapter and finally a mixed exercise that includes exam questions based on the entirety of that topic. There is a complete test at the end of the book that is up to exam standard difficulty. The digital copy also means that I can do exam questions anywhere on the go without having to take the physical copy with me.To get the most out of this book, it should be used in conjunction with the fully worked solutions for the questions, as the back of the book only gives the answers (which are occasionally incorrect) and not the working out which can be critical for understanding your mistakes. These solution banks can be found on the PhysicsAndMathsTutor website. This book is great for self teaching and for use in the classroom. However, I would highly recommend not using this book alone. Personally, I mainly used this book for exam questions. There are many teachers and resources on the internet that you should take advantage of. The ones that I think that are just as critical as this book are the Dr Frost website and TL maths on YouTube. The only things I dislike about the book are the occasional misprints and incorrect answers at the back of the book (Which is to be expected in almost every high level mathematics book) and sometimes the lack of key information that could make learning some topics much easier. But in general, this book is a great learning resource and I highly recommend purchasing the other books in this series for Statistics and Mechanics.

Very helpful for A Level Maths
I do A Level Maths and in Y12 at the moment. I got this book to prepare for Y13 and looking through it, it follows the same format as the Y1 book. This is going to be so helpful - the book contains P or E/P questions, which came from past paper exam papers (like the picture).I have seen people comment that there are no worked solutions in the textbook. There is an online platform called Solution Bank where there are work solutions for every single question. However, would recommend that you don’t rely highly on it - some of the solutions are wrong such as them messing up a minus sign which changes the whole solution. Just a thought to keep in mind :)The book also came with no creases or creased corners whatsoever. Deffo recommend <3

A Must Have!
If you are doing, or planning to do, your A-levels then this is a must have item.Stop kidding yourself, it's worth the money! And don't buy it secondhand! You get access to an online e-version code with a one time use, so if you want to save money and get a second hand version...you will, but you will miss out on a great e-platform.

Errors
Errors in answers as do all the other books of this series by Edexcel/Pearson

Unsatisfactory production quality
This is a necessity for A-Level maths and a decent textbook, as per usual for the Edexcel Maths A level series. However, the resolution of the text/illustrations in my copy were grainy and rubbed off when highlighted etc. Furthermore, the pages were glued together from the spine, so to read the interior of the page, I had to rip the pages apart, this is unacceptable. I would like to request a full refund and/or a new copy sent to me if possible.
