2 minutes to apply and looks amazing.
I just received this in the mail. I bought it mostly based on a YouTube video saying that it is the best screen protector for S7 and watched as he very quickly applied it and typed out a message perfectly. I do not understand the negative reviews. I opened the package which included a simple 4 step instruction guide, a wet wipe, a dry wipe, and a small cloth wipe. Directions say to use wet wipe to clean screen and dry wipe to dry it. I did this and it took about 30 seconds total. The wet wipe smells nice and immediately removed fingerprints without having to scrub at them. Directions then said to line up screen protector and set down gently. I used the openings at the top, which line up perfectly with your speaker and camera hole. It was perfect on the first try and only took about 10 seconds to line up. It is NOT difficult to apply for someone without normal hand coordination and balance. I'm not sure why others had a problem. Then, as per directions, I pressed around the edges to get a good stick. Afterwards (not in the directions), I pressed firmly throughout the middle of the phone, to make sure the glass was close to my phone screen. I then used the wet wipe to remove those fingerprints. It looks amazing, and as others have said, it does not look like there is one on your phone. Since so many said that their phones were no longer sensitive to their touch during use, I was a little nervous at this point. I had watched the guy in the video use his immediately with no problem, so I just decided to text my friend about my new protector. I typed out about a paragraph, including words with the letter "p". That seemed to be the most common issue with lack of sensitivity, along with the Zero. So I typed a few "0000" and then backspaced to remove them. I sent the text. I then checked to see if there were any mistypes or missing letters. There were not. So my sensitivity, as far as I could tell, was exactly the same as before I applied it. There is a setting on my S7 to adjust the touch sensitivity. It was set to the highest sensitivity when I got it. I wonder if the problem for others is because they had lowered their sensitivity at some point in the past, and that is why they had problems after applying it. It did not interfere with applying my new lime green Ballistic case. Time to go show it around town. Expecting all my friends to be ordering one by the end of the day. =)UPDATE: After a couple days I lost sensitivity and now I have to push very hard on areas around the edges. It is extremely hard to type. This seemed to coincide with the time my new case arrived. I found other reviews where the opposite happened.... Low sensitivity when first installed, but getting better over the next couple of weeks. If I press down hard around the screen like when I first applied it, the sensitivity is better for a little while, but still not as good as when it was first applied. It may be that the case is causing it to lift up or something. I will try using it without the case again for a few days. I will update if I figure this out.UPDATE: THE PROBLEM WAS MY CASE. Without the case on it, the sensitivity is fine. Easy to type, doesn't miss a letter. I inspected my case and noticed that the seam edge that touches the screen edge is sharp and protrudes slightly. This was obviously sliding under the screen protector and causing the loss of sensitivity. I sanded off this sharp edge on the case, and put it back on my phone. Now there is no problem. I reaffirm my 5 star rating for this screen protector.

Great protector.
Very pleased with this screen protector for my Samsung S7 phone (regular model, not the S7 Edge). Before purchasing, I read reviews of many brands of screen protectors for the S7, and I noted the difficulties users have had in finding one that fits the S7 screen reliably, well, and securely. Another problem people have is to find a protector that is compatible with a phone case. I saw lots of complaints about cases lifting up the edge of many different brands of screen protectors designed for the S7. I also watched some YouTube videos in which users reviewed S7 screen protectors or demonstrated how to put them on.After all that research, I decided to get TechMatte's amFilm tempered glass screen protector for the S7. The company seems to have put a lot of thought into figuring how to deal with the challenges posed by the S7. I applied it by using the hinge method. This is the first time I have ever used a tempered glass protector. I assure you it is not rocket science, if you have never done it before. You can watch some YouTube videos on how to do this. Also TechMatte has some videos worth watching. The product comes with some strips of sticky tape marked for use either to pick dust off the screen before installation of the protector or to use as hinges. The instruction sheet is very simple; unfortunately it does not illustrate the hinge method. Again, you can find videos of that method online. It worked very well for me; I got a very accurate placement of the protector onto the screen. The protector is cut very accurately to fit the layout of the phone. The protector's glass surface is very smooth and very quick to navigate. I have had no problems with touch-sensitivity at all. I have encountered no optical problems with the screen, either. The protector seems to have adhered to the screen closely at all points around the edges from the start, although I did allow some time for the protector to cure in place under a very gentle pressure. (Only the edges of the protector are designed to adhere to the screen.) The protector leaves a very, very tiny sliver of the screen edge uncovered so that a case can be used without cramping and lifting the screen protector off the screen.I think it is helpful to add that this screen protector is compatible with the S7 phone case I bought at the same time, i.e., the Supcase Unicorn Beetle Series Premium Hybrid Protective Clear case (in Frost/Black). I will post a review of that case as well. I noticed that two previous Amazon purchasers of the TechMatte amFilm glass screen protector mention its compatibility with this particular Supcase model. I appreciate the information! It would be very helpful if users of this screen protector (or any other) noted in their reviews what cases it is and is not compatible with.I want to emphasize that, between this particular screen protector and the Supcase phone case, the amount of screen that is left uncovered is to be measured in tiny fractions of a millimeter. I mean, it is minute. In some places along the edge I can barely see maybe a hair's width of uncovered screen. That is as good as it gets, if you want to use both a glass screen protector and a case.UPDATE: It did its job. It took the hit when I dropped my phone in the car, causing a small crack on the edge of the protector. The screen remained intact. Bought and just installed a replacement amFilm protector. I stand by my 5 star rating. I have had none of the problems that others complain about in reviews.

Highly recommended
This is my first impressions of the screen protector; have only had it on the phone for about a week and have not tested it's protective capabilities, but it looks very nice! Very easy to install, especially in comparison to the plastic film screen protectors which, in my experience, never went on without a struggle and always gave me fits with bubbles and misalignments. No bubbles here at all. You do need to be careful with alignment; I was able to remove it and realign it a couple of times but it does start to stick immediately even though I just gently laid it down on the phone screen. I was worried about damaging it when removing it but was very careful and no harm was done. Despite my careful cleaning of the phone screen after shutting myself in a room with little air flow, I managed to get a dust spot or two under the protector - sigh. They are not noticeable unless the display is "asleep" (black) but that might drive some folks crazy, lol, so you'll need to do a better job of it than I did. I have not noticed any lessening in the screen's touch sensitivity and the display is as bright, clear and pretty as ever. I am using the screen protector with a Spigen Tough Armor case. I did let the phone sit for about 24 hours after installing the protector to make sure it had "set" before installing the case. The protector fits perfectly with this case and I have no worries about the case interfering with the screen protector, let alone causing it to pop off.
