I am looking forward to reading this leisurely after the holidays! Phew!

It was nice to feel you were getting to know the Austens a bit better. It’s a shame it’s fiction as I find it hard to know what actually happened and what didn’t at times.It is quite slow and you know that they had a very tragic life romantically speaking. You know from the start how things will turn out so it’s more a case of reading how things got to that point.

Well written and enjoyable for anyone interested in Jane Austen and her life

I really enjoyed this book and found it an easy read. Although fictional I suppose it was also very factual about Jane Austen and her family.
